G'day Bruce!
g'day from soggy Brissie and welcome. I found a few good places to get bits and pieces from. Even found a place that can make something called bushes ( still nor sure why I need them or what they are for)

It must be nice to be able to work on your bike...
What in the world is a Garage? Don't you have a dinning room?

I agree your tool set is abit sad, but just think of all the fun you can have going shopping now I have and am still buying tools when ever Aldi has them on sale. I only have 1 piece that I do not like out of all the ones I have bought ( and only because the battery doesn't hold the charge as well as I think it should). I like the clicking wrenches they make things so easy - the ones that have like an insert in the round bit open end is the same. There is a set that you can use around corners that is next on my list

Mildly infuriating...
people are "missing" these screws Now that is the sort of info I need to know and what is an idol screw? is it what I think it is?

Just a Flood update Brisbane has flooded, but the water didn't rise as high as they thought it would. If it would have rained for another 2-3 hrs the way it had been it would have been a lot worse. We were 800 mm on the dam away from a lot bigger flood then what we have now. I am safe and dry

Finally found the answer to my fork problem, bought a new set today including new brakes. Had a nice chat to the exhaust man, what a lovely bloke that guy is he understands women. So the bike is semi booked in to get that taken care of in 3 weeks, I better get cracking so I am done by then.

sorry never in the Front room, that is the emergency parking space for when the thunderstorms roll in and there is hail in the forecast. I will work out today how to post the 2 pics I have of the fairing I just bought. No point putting up pics of the bike when it's in bits all over the place.

No pic's yes not until it's all finished. the fairing is a Police special that will give me full protection on face and arms and the speedo tach cluster comes from the same bike . It even has a thingy on there that will tell me my speed or what it was when I pushed that button

Well I finally managed to tear up one of his tools, but that is what you get when you buy the tiny things. Now I can play with the new shiny thing, its the tools you clean the crud out of the cylinder. All 4 are now nice and shiny once again. Gaskets have been ordered from the US that should only take 3 weeks or so to get here. I just bought a set of fairings and a new set of gauges ( speedo, tach) they should get here next week. Slowly but surely it's comming along, just need to find a few more minor bits and I am all set as far as I can tell.

the sinclair C5 lives
simple reason: saves them from burning too many calories and prevents more doughnutshop stops. Plus any old ganny that pinched a few undies will not be able to outrun them

I think wow warm rain would be a much better description. We are drowning and more rain is on it's way. If this were snow we would beat them poms by at least 50 cm. Ok I am off to the wreckers once again, lets see if I can get a better result today since I am bringing " samples"...lol
