Can't figure out compression problem -2 stroke HELP!!!
Your problem is that 2Ts don't have compression the same as 4 Strokes, the only way to test it is a leak down test and you have done that. So my guess would be fuel flow as if it "almost" starts with fuel poured in then you have a blockage somewhere, I would suggest that you whip the carb off and check to see if it's full of crap or not and clear the jets before you do anything else. Others on here will know MUCH more than me about 2Ts than I do so just wait till one of them turns up otherwise..!

YBR 125 Custom Puncture and chain replacement...
That's great mate, well done you..! Now find the time to potter about for a few miles and get used to being free of traffic jams and mobile phones. As to new tyres being a bit squirrelly, that should only be for about 20 miles till you scrub the face off, corner gently at first then "let her rip tater chip"

yb100 problem
Hi Ginger, this thread is 8 years old mate, unlikely that anyone from then will answer your query. Best to say Hi in the New members section then ask your question in the "general" area on the site. Old threads are usually for info only rarely used to ask questions as the folks may not be around anymore. Just sayin..!

Does anyone recognise these pipes please?
You can buy baffle material from various places to quieten down the bike, you need to wrap the baffle (not to tightly) so it still fits in the hole but reduces the noise, should look something like this when your finished. This is probably what you have now I should think

Fixing LED indicators flashing to fast.
Your right mate but it was more for those who have never done it, thought it would save endless repetitions of the same question on here.

Yamaha RS125 left cover removal
Shouldn't think so mate, they usually just come off and you then can get at the cog, don't think there is any oil behind it tho you might want a drain can under it just in case. What does it say in the manual?
-
Recommendations?
Sorry mate but I didn't know of anyone, would have chipped in if I had tho.

Fixing LED indicators flashing to fast.
Did you not see him filing them off so that didn't happen then? Plus if you have NEVER done it before it is a simple but effective method of doing the job..! But each to their own I suppose.

Fixing LED indicators flashing to fast.
On occasion there have been folks on here that want to fix a problem with their LED indicators flashing to fast. I saw this video and thought that it might help them with a full explanation on why it happens and the correct fix for this problem. I like this guy (Delboys garage) cos he mostly does away with the usual bullshit that others waffle on about, an easy fix with lots of explanations on "How to". Some of his other videos are helpful as well especially the one on fork seal replacement on both USD and normal forks.

YBR 125 Custom Puncture and chain replacement...
Ah! that would do it, just a dab of oil is all you need and as Cynic said if you go past the "CLICK" then it's just a big long bar. Really think you should consider taking it in to your local shop just to be certain that it's right, you can as well watch the guy doing it and gain some insight into what's needed. I did say right at the beginning that it's not a car, you can't tighten bike bolts till they squeak as you have already found out. Sorry to hear your tale of woe mate, tell the wife it's all a bloke thing we are as much a mystery to them as they are to us..!

Do crank seals affect top end compression?
This is just one of dozens of "How to,s" on YOUTUBE, seems an easy thing to do if you have the right kit or can make it.

Yamaha Dt 50 clutch?
Ok one more try, in both of those adverts I sent you there is the "Ask a question" at the bottom, if you don't know if it will fit then ask them..! In most cases they will agree to take it back if it don't fit, what's the harm really if you ask them to let you try it? The worst they can say is "no".

Yamaha Dt 50 clutch?
So that's not a "thank you for looking" that's a "your wrong cos I don't have that bike" is it? I shall not bother then, thought I was helping a fellow biker out with some suggestions and where does it say 1982 in this post then? Perhaps I'm being a bit picky here..! Just as an aside have you even said "Hello" in the new members section? Perhaps I'm just having a bad day.

YBR 125 Custom Puncture and chain replacement...
Hi "And" no probs mate. Ok it might be an idea to say where you live, some of the folks on here are more than willing to help out a fellow biker, they can usually be bribed with tea and biscuits. I'm in Gloucestershire so no real use to you but someone might be nearer and willing to help out. I know we have a couple of lads down in Brighton area so they could be persuaded to help I'm sure. (read your intro post) to be honest there are 2 ways to go, 1 buy the cheapest set of cogs and chain you can find and just bung them on till you know more, that way even if you fuck up it won't cost to much, 2 Buy the very best you can afford and fit them exactly as it says in the manual or even go to your local bike shop and get them to do it, the advantage of that is that you know it will have been done right and can take it back if it all goes tit's up. Just some suggestions for now as the longer your into bikes the more you will learn and be able to do yourself, good luck mate whatever you decide.
