Hi Tim, OK so it might just be a broken wire or connector, do you have a multimeter? If so then best to check each wire from the ignition to the ECU and see if you have a fault, might be an easy fix but till you check your not going to know. It's boring to do and can be fiddly but worth it if you find out what's wrong.

Does this help? https://youtu.be/_mZLcKtL_E4 Best I can do really without a bit more info to go on. Try reading this http://ybr125owner.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/yamaha-ybr-125-fault-codes.html Otherwise you need the manual to get all the info you need on how to fault find and fix your problem, some guy's on here have the YBR and may be able to help.
  4. Hi and welcome to the YOC.
  5. Well done him Jimmy, if he's not old enough to know now what's right or wrong it's to late to tell him anyway mate.
  6. Hi Steve, welcome to the YOC.
  7. Check your TCI and regulator as well, they can sizzle and short out plus they give off a burning smell when they get hot, try starting it then see if either of the wires or units is hot, be careful tho they get hot quick and can burn you. Otherwise it sounds like a short in your loom check for broken/frayed wires next.

Just watched it, been waiting for the highlights, well Vale almost got there but Lorenzo is a brilliant rider. Sad that folks think this sort of thing is fixed or they play favourites out there at 200+ MPH, I can say that if your good enough to ride one of those things and your paid what they are to win any thought that they are not trying their best is to say the least "misguided". Yes well done Danny Kent.
  15. Hi Paul glad to help (if I did of course !)
  16. What does it say on the side of the tyre? That is the best way to find out what you have, should be written plain as day. Hi Paul can I make a suggestion? It helps if you say Hello in the new members section BEFORE you ask a "how do I fix my bike" question' We get loads of one hit wonders on here who ask for help then vanish never to be seen again and they rarely if ever say "thank you" when advice is offered, makes folks wary of first time visitors, obvious really, it's not that we're unwelcoming it's more a "why bother if they won't even say hello", so if you would be so kind to pop over to the above section you might get more help. Just sayin.
