hey all, gots a question. theres a rumour going around on the internet saying that i can put a wider tire (Size 200/70-B15) straight on my xvs 650 custom WITHOUT making any modifcations to the bike. has anyone tried this OR know if this will work at all.

gorgeus bike mate, wish i had the XVS 650 (my all time fav bike) one day (when my voice breaks) ill have one lol My pipes were bolted on, i havent had the bike long, got it last August and the pipes came with it Id really like a set of highway hawk snake pipes, they must sound well loud coz the sound will constantly bounce off of the road

thanx man,u should see it in the video i made lol to keep the saddlebags all clean i seriously just use a heavy duty leather shoe polish, protects it from rain, but the only reason bags look good is that there brand new lol

last august i was on my way to buy my xvs 250 and i saw a LARGE group of dragstars and viragos near where i live. any local yamaha star riders in or around northlondon enfield? Photo taking in mc donalds on bullsmore lane in enfield

yea thts the kind headlight i want,something tht sits flush with the fender, just dont know wht to go for, and wht will fit, still new to all this bike yargan

hey all hows it going, basically my bike is slowly coming togther, but i do NOT like the rear end, thing it looks ugly, and its all to do with the hidious taillight on the back has anyone ever changed there rear light setup on there xvs 125 or 250, im really intrested in ideas even if u havent had a 125 or 250 dragstar, anyone got any ideas for the rear light setup?

the xvs 250- is a rare find, and i can get 80 mph at top speed im unsure mpg but i know a full tank will last me around 150 miles

well they put a new starter motor in and bobs your uncle it works. my dad picked it up for me yesterday but after i got home (10pm) i took it out for a spin for an hour or so, was lovly had a good ride thanx everyone for ur help and comments so how much do we think i can sell the 250 for?

getting really annoyed now. Yamaha are having trouble finding a starter motor that fits my bike i really need to get rid of this bike after its fixed. its so hard finding parts for it because its so rare in this country. anyone wanna swap for a xvs 650 lol

will do guys, thanx for everythin my bike does have a flat spot on the throttle, maybe this broke me down in the first place? dirt in the carb?
