    Help!! R6 spluttering/getting stuck at 12,000 RPM

    hi guys, i just bought a 2000 reg R6 yesterday and i was delighted with it, it makes a brilliant noise and is the fastest thing ive ever seen!! however the bubble burst when i went out to give it a bit of a thrash today, from 1000-11500 RPM the bike runs and drives fine with all the power you would expect from a 600, however when i get to 12,000 RPM it stops accelerateing and just splutters and stay's at 12,000 RPM (for those that dont know an R6 revs to 18,000 RPM) this bike has been fitted with a blue flame tri oval can but has not been dinojeted could this be part of the problem? any help would be much appreciated ive had the bike 1 day and its broke already >.< and i bought privately so its not under warrenty. thanks
