  1. Vance & Hines maybe? That's the one YamaCruiser I wouldn't mind owning.....sat on one once.....quite comfortable actually BTW.... to the forum Jim Looks like we reside on the same corner of the planet
  2. Cryin' shame to hear of such news there SR I can totally relate to your pain.......had a Garbage truck back over my XJ550 once ...NOT a fun experience I'm of the firm conviction that most cagers get thier drivers license's from a GumBall machine Looking forward to seeing what bike you upgrade to.
  3. Nice FZR there RoadHog That Marlboro paint scheme makes the bike look smaller

    Hey Scott

TBH Merv........this is my only currently running Scoot ...... I thought of you, being a Lorry Pilot.....when I drove home to Portland from Bend a few days ago..... I was driving a new Ford 1Ton UHaul moving van with the RD & These ...... Pretty light load really.....but I was also pulling this.... which now sits in my driveway ..... good news is that I just might have a buyer lined up for it already I recieved an Email from what appears to be a lady....showing some interest with her phone # ..in regards to purchasing it Cuz she wanted to come over & have a look @ it....(the Trailer of course) My Misses is gonna be on the WarPath for that one
  5. I'd love to have 1 of those in Jet BLACK The Exhaust note on these things is Absolutely Intoxicating

    Hey Scott

STRICTLY Rumour there Merv! My Father-In-Law sent me that one in an Email awhile back......all I could think about is how much that Heap would CREAK when going down the road or even worse....around corners!
  7. Pretty Wild footage here MotoGP Get-Offs
  8. Definitely SILVER! It picks up the existing silver already in graphics.
  9. That looks cool Tom I bet Pete has heard of that before....but I HIGHLY doubt that he'll participate ....... Waaaaay too mucky for his kind
  10. to the forum Phil I see by your collection of RD's & the XJ, that we've got a coupla things in common
  11. You're not the only one Partner ...... Nice Cat BTW

  17. Sweet Views of the Loch there Andy As you said, there's probably not too many good weathered days left this year ..... This is where I rode to this last Saturday ...... 4,000ft. high Pilot Butte has some great views of Central Oregon........but that access road can be a bit tretcherous......that last right hander in the background drops off like the CorkScrew @ Laguna!
  18. --> QUOTE(Mikey B @ Oct 13 2006, 04:01 AM) ← i have no headlight on turning on the ignition, until i have started the engine... is this normal? any help on this would be greatly appreciated As a matter of fact Mikey.....that IS normal for the XJ550 What's also weird, is that the 650 & 750 XJ's have the more typical ciruitry where the headlight comes on as soon as the key is turned on the ignition switch. As far as your headlight dimming @ low revs.......that has to do with how fast the generator is spinning @ those instances.

  22. Awesome pics there Pete Killer terrain for the XT
  23. Not a prob Dude Here's another 1 for the collection ...... Speaking of LAKES.... This is Crater Lake located in the southern half of Oregon........Deepest fresh-water lake in all of North America ......up until a few years back, there were places in the lake where they COULDN'T find the bottom! This used to be Mt. Mazama....1 of many Volcanoes down the West coast of the states... Legend has it that Wizard Island out in the middle......was the top of Mt. Mazama
  24. Assisted my Mechanical Engineer friend last night with dialing in the Egro's on his new XT225. This is the 1st time this guy is getting back on a bike after a 20 year hiatus from 'em when he lost the use of his left arm in an MX accident. Interesting how we actually got the stock controls to work without too much modification ....... Just gotta figure out how to squeeze in the turn signal switchgear in there somewhere. Eventually my mate wants to design a whole new complete switchgear cluster outta aluminum billet....which the brake reservoir will bolt directly to.....should have a nice clean appearance when he's done
  25. Ahhh....A man after my own heart! .....I've been Skiing since I was 5y/o.....can NEVER get enough of it! Lake Tahoe is quite Beautiful for sure......but this is my favorite chair lift in the state of Oregon ...... The NW Territory chair on the backside of 9,100+ ft. Mt. Bachelor. It's a 2,500ft. drop just on that chair alone! I've been to the summit & onto that Cinder cone above the top of that chair.......only way to get to the top of the cone........SKI up the backside......or else hike it! Best way to describe the place.....it's like Disneyland.....on Ski's!
