  1. That is pretty Heavy Steve! My brother still battles with a demon inside him after quite innocently killing a drunk walking across the street one night in the dark. He was just coming home from work, not speeding or anything of the sort. The family of the deceased even called him to say that they understood his predicament & held no ill feelings toward him @ all. He only talked to me about it once......& now it just seems to be a memory that's faded over the years. Time to get back on that bike....but I'm sure you'll remain quite alert after such an incident. Rubber Side Down mate.

That sounds like a good recipe! You'll definitely get alot more outta that YZ jug. ...& I do think Boyesen makes reeds for that beast.....@ least they used to. If you're gonna change that front end....Why not work from the triple clamps down......maybe also from a YZ?.....then you'd only have to match up bearings to fit the clamps to the steering head. I've got a similar mod in the works for my XT.
  3. No problem GOD9....glad I could help. This is the site where I found that view......MotoGrid It's been quite useful to me when I needed Ignition parts for my XT. They're cheaper than a dealer but still are parts directly from Yamaha. After comparing prices to my local dealer, I found that I saved @ least a couple hundred $$ on my Ignition parts alone. I'm now thinking of replacing my fuel petcock through them, which'll only run me $35....compared to an easy $50 from the dealer. The exploded views like you'd find on a microfiche, come in real handy......for reference if anything. Best of Luck with your Carb issue.

to the forum Shoggoth Nice collection of 2-Wheelers you've got there Myself, I've always thought the DT400 would make a great Street-Tracker. ... As they are too heavy for off-road use, but make good power for the street.... & besides.....Ridin' 2-strokers on the street is a kick in the butt!
  5. Not sure of the year or particular model of TTR you have.....but does this help?

    wtf is going on

Vette Sting Rays are my other favorite Especially like the '67 model..... 427ci.....7.2ltr (I think) BigBlock....with Tri-Power induction (3x2barrel carbs).....435HP right outta the box! You could buy this car brand new in '67 for less than $7k! Regarding the Willys......always have liked those as well......My Grandpa had a '30's vintage coupe.... & my Brother is restoring a '55 Willys 4x4 pick-up.

Now this is my all-time favorite Muscle Machine ...... '69 Camaro Z28 with an RS package (Hideaway Headlights, etc.)...... High Performance 5.0ltr short-stroke Small block V8.....with Dual Quads, 2x4 Cross-Ram Alum. intake manifold.....all to be able to pump out 500HP @ nearly 10,000rpm ...... This is the car that won the Trans Am racing series in '68 & '69.......before Ford had their turn with the Boss 302 Mustang Nothin' quite like the exhaust note of a V8 of this caliber, on the boil!
  8. Very Clean FZ! I like the colours!

Fast Cars are the Sh*t! Especially ones like this...... Super Rare '69 Yenko Camaro....with a 427 big block that pumps out 450HP.... These motors had enough torque to make a 3,000+lb. car pull 2nd gear wheelies! Amazing what these cars bid @ on Ebay! ...... High$$$ Collector Machine

  11. Reminds me of a pic I have in my garage of a Brit lady who used to race 125's & won the class championship here in the AMA .... On the back of her leathers it reads: "Who Needs Balls"

A hardcore Ford freak friend of mine told me that stood for First On Race Day But I still prefer.... Found Off Road Dead F*cked Over Rebuilt Dodge Of course that same friend had to remind me of what Pontiac stood for, as I had a FireBird @ the time.... Poor Old Nigger Thinks It's A Cadillac
  17. to the Forum YamBoy Nice Ride you've got there! A good friend of mine used to have one.....let me have a go on it a few times......I've been wanting one ever since. Myself, I like how service friendly they are.
  18. to the forum Cornishgolfer I reside @ the opposite end of the states from Tampa bay......& I have seen a Futura only once. Nice Bike indeed. The ST strikes me as being more on the Touring side of things.......but the FJR seems to be a real nice compramise between Sport & Touring .....Plenty of grunt for pillion work, but all day comfy with adaquate storage as well. I guess it just depends on where your Biking needs fall into place @.

  21. At last a guy has taken the time to write this all down Finally, the guys'side of the story.(I must admit, it's pretty good.)We always hear "the rules" from the female side. Now here are the rules from the male side. These are our rules! Please note.. these are all numbered "1" ON PURPOSE! 1. Men ARE not mind readers. 1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down. 1. Sunday sports. It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be. 1. Shopping is NOT a sport. And no, we are never going to think of it that way. 1. Crying is blackmail. 1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one: Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it! 1. Yes and No are perfectly Acceptable answers to almost every question. 1. Come to us with a problem only If you want help solving it. That's what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for. 1. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor. 1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 Days. 1. If you won't dress like the Victoria's Secret girls, don't expect us to act like soap opera guys. 1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us. 1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one 1. You can either ask us to do something Or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself. 1. Whenever possible, Please say whatever you have to say during commercials. 1. Christopher Columbus did NOT need directions and neither do we. 1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not! A color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is. 1. If it itches, it will Be scratched. We do that. 1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," We will act like nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle. 1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect an answer you don't want to hear. 1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine ...Really!! 1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as MotorBikes, fishing, the offside rule or golf. 1. You have enough clothes. 1. You have too many shoes. 1. I am in shape. Round IS a shape! 1. Thank you for reading this. Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight; but did you know men really don't mind that? It's like camping.
  22. ...Stay away from 4-Wheels these days! When an opportunity to experience speed presents itself to Valentino Rossi, the Italian isn´t one to waste it. Last Friday, after returning from Yamaha´s Qatar Test, he spent the day driving a Maserati MC12, a car which last season took part in the Italian Touring Car Championship. At the request of Rossi, there is no footage from the session at Misano. However it is evident that the MotoGP star once again showed his adaptability, having previously turned his hand to WRC and Formula 1. Back on two wheels this week, Rossi will continue with the preseason alongside the rest of the MotoGP teams in Malaysia. Money on it.....that after this season he moves into the 4-Wheel realm of racing somewhere.
