Bike Won't Start
Being a native from the PNW.....I can relate oh too well to these symptoms Also owned a coupla XS400's in the past doesn't hurt either. Definitely drain the tank & refill with fresh petrol....then with clean plugs & a charged battery, have another go @ starting it. If the results are still the same....you might need to clean those carbs out.....especially the pilot jets which are notorious for clogging after sitting for a spell. It's not that difficult & only requires a screwdriver & a can of carb cleaner to sort that problem. Hope this helps

Max B's wheelie!
I believe that was the infamous wheelie done @ the Brno round of the 1999 GP's Beyond vertical it looked like to me ....Back when Max was riding well Too bad he can't seem to keep from crashing these days.....such as in last week's WSB race @ Phillip Island

Running in?
1st of all.... to the forum Cobalt Keeping it below 7k for the 1st 500 miles or so surely can't hurt. After that, varying your Rev's for awhile will probably yield the best results for well balanced performance from that Beast. Just my 2 cents worth

Interesting to see.....

Help please
Just taking a stab @ it here........but could it have to do with the oil you're running in it? Also, sometimes if you shuffle those clutch plates, it can also make a difference. Hope this helps BTW.... to the forum CiderVisor

Just Applied for....
....A Drafting position to draw parts for this ... MotoCzysz is a local company & this is their MotoGP Bike project. There's some real innovative concepts on this beast.....especially in the front end, such as an Adjustable Trail @ the axle.....& what they call Coaxial Steering @ the triple clamps. here.....Have a look for yourselves...... http://www.motoczysz.com/main.php?area=bike I just read where they are also looking for data aquisition technicians as well......definitely a growing company. This would have to be the Coolest Drafting job I could ever have! Fingers Crossed!

Paranoid??
It pays to dbl check everything.......& with chain adjustments, you'll be able to do 'em in your sleep after you get the feel for it. Until then, take a quick test ride after everytime you turn a spanner on your bike...... If for anything......just some piece of mind. Great to hear you sorted the prob......always feels good when that happens.

87 yamaha FZ600 or SRX 600CC???
A good place to start might be........How many cylinders does it have? That should determine whether it's an FZ or an SRX BTW... to the forum.
