carb/fuel delivery problem 86 FZ 600
Typical symptoms of a bike that has sat over the winter with No use. Cleaning those carbs will give you some Peace of Mind Money on it that your Pilot Jets are clogged which is the reason for the rough running around idle. To do this properly, you'll also need to synch those carbs after you get them back in the bike..... Required for that: Vacuum guages or a set of Carb Stix BTW.... to the forum.

Top 10
Well Cap'n baited the hook & I bit it! There's been sooo many great racers since the conception of GP's in 1949..... My Top 10 looks something like this.... 1) Difficult one to nail down........kid of a toss up between Jarno Sarrinen & Rossi 2) Agostini 3) Mike the Bike Hailwood 4) Kenny Roberts Sr. 5) Eddie Lawson 6) Fast Freddie Spencer 7) John Surtees 8) John Kocinski (Weird dude but 1 Helluva Rider!) 9) Kevin Schwantz 10) Barry Sheene I can think of more but there's NO room left on the list! So, What's your Top 10 list look like?

Seca front end grab
to the forum 81Seca After riding a 550 Seca for 13 years.........I think I'd tend to look @ those brakes 1st The wheel bearings might also be part of the prob.... Does it grab exclusively when you're using the front brake?

XV250 Route 66
The conversion of HandleBars shouldn't be a prob.......outside of possibly re-routing cables or brake lines? A nice flat Drag-style bar would put your hands back up on top of the steering head where they belong.

xt350 bad starting
How bright does your spark look? Could it possibly be a dodgy primary coil?

HELP SOUGHT
I've had that same prob with my XT for over a year now Bottom line is my clocks are shagged! But your issue might be something internally in the gearbox?

Maxim-I?
I'm NO expert on this subject, but being a previous Maxim owner........ It might have something to do with it being an early generation Maxim? Mine was an '83 750.......& the later Maxim-X (5-valve head model) came out in '85 I believe?

wont start power occasionally
Sounds like it might be a faulty Starter Cut-Off relay?......Same thing happened to me with my 550 Seca... The relay can be by-passed & is located near the primary coils in the frame backbone, above the motor.

01 Roadstar (is this a good price)
That seems to be a fair price coming from a Dealer? Scrutinize the hell out of it before you cough up that kinda coin though BTW..... to the forum.

Just bought a DT125!
I think the lamps usually react to the Oil LEVEL in the crankcase....so that might be a good place to check 1st

Just bought a DT125!
to the forum HellRaiser Check all your fluid levels.....especially the 2-Stroke oil (resevoir)......might just be all that's making that light come on?

New Bike... mistake?
Possibly NOT......Sounds like a common deal with used bikes.....especially older one's.....leave you feeling doubtful You just need to take a day & fine tune it to your liking If you're fairly familiar with tools.......It's a Piece of Cake Lube all the cables......then get yourself a manual.......& maybe ask some questions.......HERE! Gotta friend with a coupla old XS's........who recommended 'em to me

SR125 Starting problem
That Kill Switch would be the 1st item I'd address sounds like the contacts inside might be corroded....causing it to earth intermittently. If you take apart the switchgear on that side of the handlebar......you can then spray it down good with some WD-40......which'll hopefully free things up a bit. If the problem continues.....then you might have an issue with the starter itself Hope this helps
