Well you can get cream for that you know, but for all the good it does you might as well shove it up your arse.

To be fair, if they can't see that bloody great thing under your arse, they're going to struggle to see your numberplate

Early TZR wheels (1987) 2RK, (1989)3PC1 were 185x16" front, and 215x18" Rear, Later TZR wheels (1990)3PC2, (1991)3PC3 were 215x17" front, and 250x18" rear, according to the TZR manual anyroad. The last TZR for the UK market was made in 1995 was the 4HW3 which I'm presuming yours is?
  5. Youv'e mentioned about the caliper and the distance of the mounting holes for the forks, but another thing to consider is the size of the disc the caliper sits on. when I converted to take a twin pot Brembo caliper on to a 305mm Disc, I made my bracket to suit, the Brembo caliper bracket I made for the DTR forks needed 70mm spacing between holes but surely you can make your bracket to go to 100mm hole spaces? Plus if you really want a 4 pot caliper, which in my opinion is over egging the pudding somewhat for a 125 bike, you can use an RS Aprilia 4 pot caliper using this set up

Lol Cal, I wasn't poo pooing it, it will work no doubt with your 4dl block, what I was trying to get through to you is that the Belgarda factory developed the SP engine for a racing series, and therefore the exhaust they used for the 4dl SP will obviously be the best for your engine, and like I said there was 3 types of 4DL bike 4dl1, 4dl2, and 4dl3, and the engine for the SP, was the 4dl3,iirc ( the cylinder head/ barrel that used an 'o' ring, instead of gasket), and 4DL stamped on barrel instead of 3mb, and garibaldi or something similar stamped on barrel, the one they used for that, was the one with the much longer stinger, which I have, and when trying to fit it, found it runs away from the frame too much for my liking, so I have the full DEP system on it at the min, till I decide if I'll fabricate it to fit, or if the DEP runs fine on it I'll keep using the DEP.
  11. It's a tool box Cal, I pinched off a Rieju SMX I had, they have them on as standard.

Have had about 4 or 5 people saying they can't find this project thread, so have bumped it back from the nether regions, nice to see it is still getting a fair bit of attention.
  13. Bloody 'ell 7359 in first year, talk about banging them out. lol
  14. 007460
  15. Mine'll be 460 then OG or is it 359th?
  16. Nice one Mozzy got a cracking bike there, I have an 82 XT125, in pieces that I keep promising myself I'm going to get put back together and restore back to factory standard. Reading your thread, might make my get off me arris and do it, they first came out in 1982, and my frame starts 007 so am hoping that's number 7 off the production line. could be wrong mind you.
  17. Sawted!!! yep you can put a TZR4dl Belgarda engine in a DTR frame, engine kicked up after about 5 kicks, sounds nice with the full DEP system and the Malossi air filter, running a 4mm oversize Wossner piston, 38mm Keihin carb, stage 3 ported and gas flowed, just need to sort out wiring to get the electric start working next, then sort some brembo braking out, getting there, slowly but surely.
  18. Oh no he didn't!!

Remember too that you can raise or lower the needle to make it richer or leaner, plus check your air filter make sure its clean,, and has been primed with oil, I personally use 2t oil to prime mine. btw it shouldn't be wringing wet with oil, just moist.
  25. NEV replied to YamYamMan's post in a topic in General
Mixture screw should be around 1 1/2 turns out from fully in, to richen up turn right or clock wise, to lean off turn anti clockwise or left, so that's right = rich, left =lean.
