  1. The Divvy was a decent allround bike....but when the Bandit came out in 1995 it blew it away in all areas and was actually cheaper than the Divvy too. You won't find many of them around for that reason, and the ones that are left are usually hacks because they never inspired pride of ownership and were just used as workhorses. Like I say, not a bad bike, but was so outdated and oldtech even when it was first introduced it never generated much interest.

Move to inland Spain! There's 30 year old Fiestas going round without a spot of rust.....and they've never been cleaned since they were new!
  5. 19 April or 19 May.....you've put 2 dates. If it's 19th April, I've got 2 guys coming over on the 22nd till the 30th as well. PM me your landline number and I'll give you a ring (free calls with Voip Stunt) and I can give you some ideas.

Illegal.....only clear or amber are legal as far as I know.
  20. Funnily enough I just changed my oil today. The old oil had been in there for 3 months and 600 miles.....but it had been standing most of the Winter in subzero conditions which I find tends to deteriorate the oil and make it watery. Well that's what I've noticed anyway. Refilled with the Mobil 15w40 mineral car oil which I used last time....it seems to run well on it. Though the oil coming out was thinner and more watery than I expected....but that could be down to standing idle for 7 weeks. Next time I'm going to try a 20w50 Diesel mineral oil for the Summer temperatures.....Mobil if I can get it.

And he's 22! Not sure if we'll get a visit from the Chav King today....he's probably chilling out by wheelspinning his gay car round some inner city no-go area! Have a good day Moz!
  22. The oil level window is just below the kickstart and the dipstick is just above it on the top of the casing. Battery's on the other side of the bike behind the side panel....it doesn't have to have one, but it's better to have one fitted.

You won't need one....but it's better to have one.

Best value for money bike to get experience on would be an early Fazer 600 with the Thundercat motor. You could get a mint 2002/2003 for around £3K.
