Cam tensioner would make a rattle on idle that would slightly go away when a few revs are applied Without seeing ur bike m8ty i would say the big end bearings are shot or sommat has come addrift in the gearbox with you saying you cant engage gear? Be cheaper and quicker to whack another lump in it imho Lee

Woohooo well done m8 Now she`s running wouldnt it be worth while having the carbs setup at a dyno place? I know it cost`s money but must be worth it to save on stress? Got to admit i do clutchless changes all the time Im not saying its ok for the machine but if done right you can get the power down smoothly,i would say its a more lazy way of up shifting really that a advanced riding skill as its not excatly rocket sicence is it?

Have the same problem with my fz750 m8ty;,i guess its just one of the yamaha`s weak points?

Firstly a big well done john on the pass i still remember mine and that was 14mnths ago with ref the bike delema i wouldnt risk it myself as the insurance would be bad enough as it is and if you was unlucky and it was stolen the next years prenium would be mad Dont you have any mates you could store the bike in there garage while your not out playing? Parents are pretty good for this aswell Anyway well done m8 and welcome to a life of biking
