Hi, i am looking on ebay for parts, and was wondering if virago 700 & 750 parts are interchangable? and if so, what years are interchangable? I have an '86 700. parts needed: the apperatus that holds the left plastic cover in place (body panel under seat) generator cover ring on left side engine (three screws on inner ring, need outer ring) front upper exaust pipe Thanks, Robb

Hi all, my first post here. I need some help I am getting an 86 Virago XV700 and it is in need of a speedo cable. I tried to search on the net but no luck, is this going to be incredibly difficult or a rather easy deal? I am mechanically inclined as I have restored a car and have done weekend warrior type mechanical work for a long time. I get the Bike Sunday and I plan on trying to get it fixed asap. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks Robb
