Probably something to do with the CDI not sure about the new ones though, you may have to look for some wiring diagrams to derestrict it.

See if you can get yourself some flatside carbs from a breakers off the SP, you can feed some more fuel in which will add a bit.

Yep be careful with the engine casing or you will have to play with a helicoil set one weekend!

The best way is to goto a track day, when they are running the free suspension set ups As they have so much experience they can pretty much set it up perfectly first go.
