  1. I am locking this thread. Time to all chill and send out positive karma.
  2. I head butted a pigeon at 40mph a year or so back. Snapped my visor and gave me concussion. The worst part was the horrible dust stuff that came off it. Tasted nasty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  3. For the brake Look at the rear brake switch. There be 2 wires. See which one is live with the brake switch off. The other should be live with the switch on. Use a multimeter to test this. The wire that is not live with the switch off is the one that should go to the rear of the bike. Check the colour of this wire and find it at the rear of the bike. Use the multimeter again to test this is live with the switch on. This then connects to the rear light. The rear light fitting should have 2 wires, the other one is the earth. If you don't have a live to the rear brake switch then you need to sort this first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  4. Dodgy gearboxes, second gear on some. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  5. Ha ha Mike. Yep, a casserole with plenty of iron. It was a bit too greasy for me!! Today I was mainly doing this. Went to Robloxcon which was just on the edge of London at the RAF museum.
  6. Twice - once when I buy it and once before I sell it.
  7. Today I was mainly doing this: Old sprockets past their sell buy date.
  8. The points plate may have moved and it sounds like they are not opening on the cam. They need to be gapped correctly. I would replace them anyway but I know what it's like to want to hear a motor running.
  9. My oldest project is 1965 and a lot of us have 1970's bikes too. Regular bikes on here.
  10. Have a look here to start with Check the points and condenser first.
  11. Hello, I'm not. Welcome to the forum.
  12. Hi and welcome to the forum. I think I posted a reply. in the other thread. Shouldn't be too hard to do provided it is not an import without papers.
  13. I thought I saw him on the site a few days ago. Mind you, my memory is not what it was. Sometimes I arrive home from work to find that I had just left the house to ride to work.
  14. Kicked her into touch years ago, thank god. Got a nice partner lady one now.
  15. PM him through the site as well, can't hurt. He is a member on here. Search for speedshop.
  16. Hi and welcome to the forum.
  17. Have you tried speedshop on here?
  18. To sell? You should probably get a corporate account. LINKY Lots of us on here have project bikes. I could do with some stainless engine nuts and bolts, and other bits, for 3 bikes. Stainless engine case pan head, phillips screws that are not completely threaded to the head would be of interest. as would stainless fork and handlebar bolts. I recently had a couple of armature pullers made for me in the US and shipped - didn't do the job - but still cost a few quid. I hope this helps.
  19. Hola Karlos. Cruising by the sea. Can't be beaten by much. If you don't mind, can I ask you why you have Autism as an interest?
  20. Hi and welcome to the forum. As Blackhat said, start a thread in the workshop section. You will need to add a little detail like: What the carb is Does it have to be premixed as there is no oil feed to the carb What a "retract" is More info on the stiff lever
