  1. I can't help but it does bring up the question of what transition would be in place if there is a split from the union?
  2. I don't know much about this to be honest. What I can say is that it will only get more expensive. Also do you need to to direct access on a larger bike? if so, do you have one and are you experienced on it. I just rode around the block a couple of times to get my licence.
  3. Further to that, often the clutch can be tinkered with at the lever _ do you have a small kindled dial where the clutch cable goes into the clutch lever at the handlebars? Idle is normally at the carb.
  4. The clutch may need adjusting and or the idle raised. Also check the Chain tightness. Not sure about your biking experience but bikes can be hard to put into neutral when stationary. A little rocking the bike forward and backward with the clutch in can help.
  5. This really needs to be in the workshop area. A pan of hot cooking oil or do what I did last week, take them to a local guy who changed mine for £20, same day.where about are you in the country?

    Summer is here

It must be. Larger than normal first post wants with no into and a growing number of workshop questions in the bar again.
  7. He asked for a manual in the initial post. I removed it. Posted 3 times without an intro. No free links to manuals are allowed on this site. It is illegal. Topic locked.
  8. Ebay. You have posted 3 times without an intro. No free links to manuals are allowed on this site. It is illegal. Topic locked.
  9. Best to send a PM to Lee using member name Lee@Bikesure. Give him your name and number with some times he should call and he will call you back.
  10. Properly serviced? Is the gearing standard (sprockets)? Try to get it more revs before you get into top gear.
  11. I called him this morning about something else and I think he had done your job and just needs to post it back to you.
  12. You need to make sure that the carbs are really clean and set up correctly. The pilot jet controls the fuel at idle. What condition is the air filter?

    Dont Text

It's illegal in the UK too but loads of people still do it. Slow moving traffic makes it worse as people who are so important that they must answer a text immediately just get on their phone as soon as traffic slows. They then weave all over the place.
  14. 1998/99 YZ400 Topic locked as this section is for new members to say hello in - normally before they ask for help.
  15. 40mm at a point 4 chain links behind the chain tensioner when the chain is at it's tightest point. The chain should always be well lubed.
  16. Change the oil, check the oil level and check the chain tension.
  17. Do you think he is trying to pull me John? When I said I wanted to improve Anglo Scottish relations I didn't quite mean that
  18. Ha ha, we are all born who we are, some change out of circumstance and some through desperation. I think you are confusing me with Foamy.
  19. Clean fuel, fuel tank, fuel pump and carbs, air filter would be where I would start.
  20. Make sense to me. The guy does rebores etc so knows his way around a bike. I guess he asked you to send him the axle that needs to be inserted so he can get the tolerance right.
  21. I use: "Jean has a long moustache" "wound my heart with a monotonous languor" I love that film. Pity my better half is in when all the parcels are delivered!!
  22. Have a look here if you want to size up some bearings LINKY
