  1. You can find the current owner if you have a legitimate reason. For example a bailiff wanting to see who owns a vehicle that they could seize. I wouldn't think that you once owned the vehicle is grounds enough to out trump data protection. I wouldn't want anyone calling, writing or turning up at my door because in 1978 they owned a vehicle that I now have. They shouldn't have sold it.
  2. Everything, but the chain alignment can be easy. Offer up, measure and get welded. You need to take the measurement of the chain from the center of the bike to see if a 180 could be fitted without snagging the chain otherwise your front sprocket shaft will have to be extended.
  3. It could make a great looking heavyweight supermoto. I am a big fan of the 850 TDM but they all seem to have more mileage than the star ship enterprise.
  4. Ohh to find it and send foamy anonymous pictures of it parked at various places around the country - bliss!!
  5. Are you sure the lump in your throat wasn't caused by the impact of your privates into the tank?
  6. Almost everything is possible with enough time and money. Common issues for fitting different swingarms are; Width of the swingarm mounting - it has to fit in the frame at the swingarm bolt Swingarm bolt size too thick/thin Clearance - all around Shock mounting - as mentioned but if you are turning it upside down then the brake caliper might be grabbing at the wrong part of the disc Rear sprocket offset from the engine sprocket position. All are able to be overcome but a swing arm manufacturer would be able to make you a swingarm that fitted a lot easier - apart from the offset. You may have to get the shaft extended for that.
  7. Steve. You have broken more DT50's for parts than anyone else I know. All were someone's pride and joy once. Every time we buy a used part from fleabay we are all guilty of killing the dreams of someone being reunited with "their" old loved bike. I probably have 100 people's dreams in my shed - but they are not getting them back.
  8. I am about due a new one as well. I won't even contemplate buying a bike specific one due to the cost and I only use a bike one once or twice a year. At the moment the garmin 2447lmt or 2547lmt look about favourite.
  9. A631, A614, A1041, A63, A162 all we need is someone with a satnav that can set waypoints. I will check if on of mine can.
  10. Yes, You are a very bad boy. Not only has the ribbing got to stop but I am still holding the folding on 3 shirts. Jason, John and Andrew. I am not sure if they have remembered though so otherwise they might want their cash back. Errrrr.......................no!
  11. 50p, a turnip and a random "how much do you think and it's not for sale" picture.
  12. If we went; A6, A60, A631, A638, A19, A63 then we could meet you at Loughborough (where I live) or skip the first part of the A60 - continuing on the A6 to kegworth (donnington park) and then join the A60 at Nottingham after going down the A453.
  13. Let's get a route planned then, right towards skeggie/ hull or left over Matlock and the likes. All roads lead to Squires. We might even pass Kev, but only if we go the skeggie way!
  14. I am hoping to be on the road by lunchtime'ish. Is was a little late last year but lets see what Jason and Andrew think......... Gentlemen?
  15. Are you looking to meet up with a few of us in Nottingham for the ride up?
  16. Hi and welcome to the forum.
  17. I'm with Drewpy and the Ali wheel cleaner.
  18. If you strip the carbs - or split them into singles - I will ultrasonic clean them for the cost of the return postage if you are interested.
  19. Last one I went in was a night flight up the strip at Vegas. There is a local place on my way to work that does them and training. I have always loved them, I just don't like travelling in them.
  20. True. That would be "hint of antifreeze" from the "I think its fecked" range.
  21. I've never enjoyed helicopter travel. The feel of the rotors spinning above are very strange.
  22. Sorry Jason. 2 stroke exhaust should be "Hint of Lilac" from the Dulux Solo range
  23. ................. well I though so. Ideal for when all of the, car only drivers, say noisy/smelly/tearaway/speeding bikes should be banned. LINKY Other articles here LINKY
