'78 Suzuki TS250C project
Hi Blackhat. It isn't too bad. 88 non motorway miles. I haven't heard from Jason for a while. Not sure about being "surrounded" but at least you can all marvel at my number plate . We just need to make sure that everyone has at least a little petrol before the Saturday run. It is hit and miss. I think that the USPS recently changed the international posting levels so you can't get a cheap price now, but things do get delivered quicker.

TY 175 Taillight issue
I am having similar issues with theTS. Quite often an earth issue, as already said. Sometimes the 2 lights are meant to be on different circuits and the extra current draw does this. Is the ty an after market fitted kit to make it road legal with no battery?

'78 Suzuki TS250C project
I have abandoned the original UK chrome fender for the time being and brought a US style one. It arrived the early part of the week but was orange. This has been sprayed red. Just waiting for the fittings from the US which were posted the middle of last week. Need the horn fitting. Waiting for that to arrive but I have a rough looking spare one, just in case. The last bit of spraying has oranged peeled on me so I will rub that down tomorrow and get it sprayed. The electrics have been a nightmare but I think I finally have a solution (I have thought that before though). I need to run the pilot and tail lights from the battery but they are running from the stator so when the pilot light only is on they are very bright. Should be able to sort it. I hope. The number plate is waiting to go on but that is the very last job. Not yet mate. I managed to get an insurance quote from Carol Nash. £143. That is £40 more than the SV!!! Once I get the last few bits I will book it in. If it passes and it rides ok then off to Squires on it. I have ridden it around the garden today. My lovely other half said; "it sounds rattly and is it supossed to smoke"

Repair alloy pitting on engine casing
Are they too deep to be media blasted? If they are going to be painted you could try a liquid metal and then a dremel to sand them flat.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I would test the pump and if it works, use it. Good quality oil is a must for me. Castrol Power 1 racing 2T synthetic for me. Smells nice too.

Damn those bike cams. Bikes = (Excitement + Fun + Speed + Camaraderie + Adrenaline + Addictiveness) - A tiny bit of danger. Easy to see why they are hard to shake off once they get a grip of your soul.

Your First Bike Adventures...
As a spotty teenager. Brought a TS90 secondhand from John's of Romford. Never ridden a bike before and had a full car license. No one in my family rode bikes (still don't). I rode it all night and have never looked back. Once it's in your blood, resistance is futile. That was 36 years ago BTW (I know - I am an old barsteward). Since then been all over Europe and North Africa touring. Le Mans and Bol dor circuits. Too many bikes to list, too many bikes to count to be honest.

Original is always good. It helps keep it's value and 2 strokers are always in demand. I don't know about the quality Just keep away from "Monster Energy" go faster stickers
