If you can't do it yourself. then I guess so. A lot more than a workshop manual though! 2 hours work (or a fair bit less TBH) so £97.50 per hour.

I would guess that any issues with a script notification would be down to the persons pc/mac not having an upto date java/flash/shock wave plug in or a security settings issue with their browser. I have my browser set to delete cookies on closing so if I am logged out it appears each time I open the browser and go to the site. The cookie works if the browser is left open. I am normally logged in anyway.

1 Not a job you do at home. They should be balanced. 2 Probability just crud. Carefully pull the cases together using the crankcase screws or slightly longer ones. The last owner may have used sealer to join the half's making it harder to part them.

Muffs - never had some but they work very well by all accounts. People always get them to fit somehow. Keeps hands dry and warm (out of the wind). Heated grips - Don't keep your hands dry but warm up the fingers a little. The battery should be OK and switch them off a few miles from your destination to get the extra charge back in the battery. Fingers still get cold enough to make you want to cry. As witnessed by me each January. Gloves - Get proper winter gloves. Simples. For proofing - Nikwax. Get cleaner and proofer double pack. LINKY Dont wash anything in soap powder, ever!!
  10. Can't normally be ar5ed with one hit posters without a "hello" Try changing the battery in the fob. This can be a warning that the fob battery is failing. You're welcome!!
  11. Hi and welcome to the forum. Great intro BTW.
  12. Making the bike cut out while running?
  13. Can you disconnect the side stand down switch and see what happens? It should be reconnected before riding but if it starts you know where the fault is.
  14. Hi and welcome to the forum Jamie. Gentle enough?
  15. Sounds like the circuit to the coil and the starter are shorting out or something like the stand down kill circuit is earthing out. I guess the run switch is in the correct position?

I don't think it is a virus. All the links are relevant to the site. Possibly just a IP board add on that the boss has added.

As Airheads says. Check the size first. They do 8mm as well and in stainless so they are easier to get off again.

Try some 6mm threaded rods. Just cut them to size LINKY
  25. Welcome to the club Blackhat. Same running symptoms but still goes very well. easy resto mate. well done it looks fab. The chrome fenders come up a lot in the US. The front fender and stays seperate I think but quite a few are still around. Parts for these are plentyful, Exhaust are common, I think that they make complete pattern seats for them and even NOS gas tanks come up frequently. There is a nice lime'ish green one that always takes my fancy!! Yes (said through gritted teeth). These TS models (all before the ER) are, to me, some of the prettiest bikes ever made. No worries. Already sent some info bits. The bottom end is about the same. The rest is different.
