There coming out of hibernation...
The winter winter salt is eating the SV metal bits as I type. Can't be arsed to wash it off. It has been a long winter but I normally have seen at least one other nutter winter rider most days. There have been days this winter when my fingers hurt from the cold so much it brought tears to my eyes, and that is with heated grips. I agree that it is getting to that time when all the very very shiny bikes will come out with their Hein Gericke play suits and £750 lids.

Cheap mobile phone deal
I get T mobile Orange when the T mobile signal drops, which is often! French Telecom run I believe and a much better signal in France.

New project on it's way
Rideable classic for me but maybe the next 6 to 8 Months getting it where I want it (Parts permitting). I use the SV to ride, enjoy and commute and it is my first choice form of transport. I want to be able to commute on the TS on dry days during the summer and maybe pop to a few events and weekends away.

my car died today
I have had a couple of zafiras. Very bus like but lots of space. Ideal for school and shopping runs.

New project on it's way
Most of the bits are there but some are in a lot poorer condition than I expected. The exhaust is no good, the tank is no good, not sure about the oil cover panel. The head and cylinder fins are fine (need to see if the cylinder will take a rebore). The engine turns freely in all gears but the oil has emulsified. There is a spark. The frame, swingarm and most other "structure" parts look as though they will clean up. Took the tax disc holder off and there are 4 disks in in from '92 to '95. I also have 3 MOTs for around the same period. Good advice Drewps. The day after my birthday so I will be going with a list I think.

Cheap mobile phone deal
Never heard of them BWJ. I'm on T Mobile but the signal is bad where I live.

New project on it's way
For a bit of a shock to a bolt if it isn't going to shift. Plusgas, heat, cold and repeat. I like the banana TS's too but nothing came up that looked like a challenge for the right money. If only that worked.

New project on it's way
Ha ha. It's a dismantling lubricant . Even I wouldn't want to drink it . It is next to the freeze spray, the GT86, the WD40 and the degreaser. I just hope no one lights a match

New project on it's way
Cheers BWJ. I have 2 big tins of plusgas at the ready for tomorrow.

New project on it's way
The tank is very, very slim. About 6 inches across. It is the model after the bananna exhaust one but before the ER's.

New project on it's way
Not sure TBH. There is no piston in it but the crank spins smoothly. I think I will take an inventory tomorrow. It didn't show up until 5pm so I didn't get a chance to see what was missing. Most of it seems to be there. The electrics seem butchered which always surprises me as the electrics on these old bikes are so simple but people always think that hacking at wires will fix something There was a nice one on evilbay a little while ago HERE Not sure if the front mudguard is right? but I would like to get it back to something like this. I might have to throw a grand (or one and a half) at it, but it should keep me out of trouble .

New project on it's way
Well it has arrived. a bit worse than I thought but looks like the makings of a good project. Been out with the Plusgas already and had a good squirt around. A couple of MOTs and Tax disk came with it and look like the mileage is genuine. I don't think I will have it running tomorrow I had better get my cheque book out

New project on it's way
Hi OG. No sign of it yet. The guy picking it up had to deliver a £20k bike first. I hope he doesn't mix them up
