I brought another complete, unmolested, engine for the TS. It is in a van somewhere (hopefully) on its way to me. There is another one on evilbay at the moment but I think the guy is having a giraffe with the price. Or am I just tight? Have a look LINKY
  4. But you did get a link. Here's another one to click on LINKY . Unfortunately there are frequent occurrences of people asking a question, getting help, never to be seen again. Most do not even come back and say it worked or did not work. It is a forum not a "ask a question on demand" free helpline.
  5. Clarkey. Did I read 3 crashes in 8 Months? Let me know when you are out next, I will take the bus Look here for parts LINKY

    Do you have a picture?
  7. It's always cheeky (at the very least) to ask a question without saying hello in the noobs section. A bit like expecting rumpy on the first date! As for carb parts try HERE

40 degree C heatwave in Loughborough. Sticky tarmac. Schools on holiday......................................... Ahhhh bliss (I lied about the 40 degrees but it tried to rain around lunchtime but didn't quite make it).

Good you had a positive experience. I would say that a 1992 helmet is getting on a bit. Mind you I do have clothes that are older.
  11. Get the parts online as pattern parts. very much cheaper. Indicator, lever and pedals are easy to change. Welcome to the forum.

Looks very good but rim tape is a no no for me.
  19. Can you drain the carbs and tank, even if you put new fuel in. If water has got into the tank over winter the fuel at the bottom of the tank may be contaminated with water. Fuel would sit on top of this.

Gets rid of kidney stones. Personally I think it is ......... not the best music.
  21. rev the bike and see if the voltage drops.
  22. Blimey DAS is around that from scratch. I think I paid £20 (to be honest I can't remember) but I did have to ride around the block twice. I am shocked at the cost.

As OG says. Could be a blocked breather (cap off) or heat evaporating the fuel in the carbs (check fuel pipe routing) or check for a blocked filter (especially inline ones).
  24. I would always say - why not put two grand aside and spend two hundred into a full license? Much more choice for the same money. Trails are generally lower power so, in a lot of cases, there is no need to even restrict them.
  25. Here is one with one careful owner HERE But still looks better than my TS250
