  1. Twisties are good for me. Let hope we are both buzzing when we get there....................................... Lets hope we both get there
  2. I can look after it for you! All you need to do is keep sending the petrol money (in a plain envelope please). I will send you a photo each year just to show how it is getting on. Seriously I would park it by the road. I had to do this a while ago. It did get knocked over and then reversed over once. If you can chain it to a lamppost, so much the better.
  3. Very nice. Now I know what will be behind me on the way to the YOC show

I have done it. These forums are normally PHP script with a SQL database and, depending on which one you go for, lots of mods. A lot are self installing. I like phpbb best LINKY

There are some good luggage deals on getgeared at the moment. Even if you dont want all the bits in the deal, keep the bits you need and sell the rest on evilbay to get some cash back. LINKY Also Tesco's have a surplus of tents. A 3 man tent for under £15 (not sure of the quality though ) LINKY

Really tight margins in insurance at the moment. Not sure about bikes but the average car owner changes their car every 18 months so they know that every other year one insurance company will get the admin fee. It's how it seems to work now. Yep Drewps. I did some work for a warranty insurance company and there was a lot of that going one. The guy would buy a car and take the warranty. The dealer would then pocket the cash in the hope that the punter didn't claim. We changed the process to "online" so that stopped them. Amongst other things, I worked on new Triumph bike warranties..... oh and Lotus and TVR.

Ahhhh Norwich Union. Name, Address, Tick up to what cc (in cc bands), Tick TP - TPF&T - Fully Comp. Rip it off a pad and that was your cover note. All done over the counter in the bike shop the day you picked your bike up.

I think you made the right choice NEV. Mine is on my drive and I have a ground anchor and heavy chain I use every night but I just specify the Oxford Nemisis as I carry this around with me and use it in addition to the other security. Last year I mistakenly said the bike was secured by the chain so if the bike had been stolen at work I would have been buggered.
