  1. Hi and welcome to the forum. Nice looking bike TZR.
  2. Happy birthday to 2 stroke yin - Blackhat. Here is one for you given the miles you do!
  3. Cheers guys. Anyone for Squires 2012?
  4. A DT and TS owner. Welcome to the forum.
  5. It looks good to me. Welcome to the forum.
  6. Yep. Had a week down there. The week we had the fantastic weather. Great place. There seemed to be a Sunday old bike run out from the local Little Chef. Not sure if it was a one off but loads of old skool bikes leaving the carpark. Pity I was in the car!!
  7. One of my spare engines, crap tank, old exhaust, old shocks. New jets in carb and a ramair filter while I try and get an outlet hose. Excuse the garden, I am doing some ground works for the workshop so it is messy. TS startup If the link does not work for you, it is on my video wall LINKY
  8. Hi and welcome to the forum. You will need to be more specific - New parts or bling parts? Start a new thread in the custom section. About three quarters of the page down on the main page.
  9. Hi and welcome to the forum.
  10. It looks nice but for that kind of cash I would want it to be perfect. That is assuming that the dealer has got things right about the gearing.
  11. 49/15 is right for the E,F and MX but it only produces 15BHP @ 7000 RPM. I posted a gearing calculator on another thread. Can you use that to see what should be happening? What is non stock with the rear wheel? My TS only has 23BHP

    Piss test

I had to take one when I did some work on St Pancras station a while ago. I think it is a good idea........................unless you own shares in bargain booze! With the Euro's starting today: I have heard a rumor that the reason Rio didn't get on the Euro squad was he took a dope test and passed.......................................He is a dope.
  13. I wonder how many planes are going to get tickets now!
  14. Hi Simon, 1) incorrect internal gearbox ratios (not sure if this is even possible). Could this be some gears from an older model? a 125 or possibly a TY - Not sure if any of those would fit but there should be pleanty of gears around if you decided to strip the engine. 2) Smaller diameter rear tyre. (Looks right for the bike) The only real way of curing this is getting the hub re-spoked and rimmed. Getting a good second hand wheel is almost impossible. 3) Speedo reading incorrect. It will probably read fast as most do but not slow surely! Did the dealer mean that the mileage is incorrect? Different speedos or a little bit of clocking would do this and most dealers would state that unless they new the history of the bike. I wouldn't worry about it. NOS speedo come up on ebay. If it is the actual top speed, it is to be expected. They never were racing machines. 4) I didn't have the nerve to ask the dealer if he had used sixth gear. I am not saying a lot of dealers lie but...........................................................................what answer would you have liked to have heard?
  15. What are you trying to say? All of us old folk are old strokers? Dodgy euphemism that.
  16. Hi and welcome to the forum Simon. I am on my third mid life crisis, so no worries there!
  17. Any enduro/trails waterproof switch would do - including kill switches. Plus a relay. I think that you need to have a warning light for an MOT pass http://www.nutz4bike...oof-Stop-Switch
  18. Congrats. Kicked my old one into touch a few years ago. Got a much better and younger one now.
  19. I am lucky in that respect Drewps. My partner/significant other (too old for a girlfriend) isn't a biker but is very supportive. I am a bit worried at the moment though as I have about another 20 packages on their way.
  20. Hi and welcome Adam We had a member from Nevada (Little Dave) who was a DT owner and a great poster. I wonder where he is now?
