  3. Hi and welcome to the forum. It may be worth a trip to High Beach in Epping to see if you can hook up with other like minded people.
  4. No, sorry. Try looking at: http://www.rsbikepai...-gb/colours.php http://www.colorrite.com
  5. Anyone for Squires?

  6. True Sacha! Jeannette is a fully fledged member of the forum now. You wait, she will be starting a project thread soon.
  7. Seen lots of live sheep on the back of a bike in Africa. Plus 3 people of course.
  8. Damn those bike cams. Bikes = (Excitement + Fun + Speed + Camaraderie + Adrenaline + Addictiveness) - A tiny bit of danger. Easy to see why they are hard to shake off once they get a grip of your soul.
  9. As a spotty teenager. Brought a TS90 secondhand from John's of Romford. Never ridden a bike before and had a full car license. No one in my family rode bikes (still don't). I rode it all night and have never looked back. Once it's in your blood, resistance is futile. That was 36 years ago BTW (I know - I am an old barsteward). Since then been all over Europe and North Africa touring. Le Mans and Bol dor circuits. Too many bikes to list, too many bikes to count to be honest.
  10. Original is always good. It helps keep it's value and 2 strokers are always in demand. I don't know about the quality Just keep away from "Monster Energy" go faster stickers
  11. I concur. A R6 is a big jump from a 125.
  12. Thank you both, I have tried ebikeinsurance and it is not on their list either but thanks anyway.
  13. It has had about £100 worth of seed and stuff on it. It went all moss'ie and I have got rid of that but it isnt in the best condition I must admit. As for the bike! Still waiting for parts from the UK, the US and Thailand. Some spraying of the panels, the seat needs repairing, base sprayed and putting togther. Insurance (The model doesn't even show up on comparison sites), MOT and TAX. Then a shakedown. Less than 2 weeks. It is going to be tight so hopefully no rain to stop play!!
  14. Blue tac? what a load of bull I never make a joke and milk it. I love bad jokes and have herd a few. Oh dear, I need to sit down now.
  15. True Kev. Mine is still "work in progress". Still a lot to do and I really need to get it MOT'ed by next weeked if it is going to make Squires. How it stands today:
  16. No worries. There is a 2010 one, which looks a little better, for sale at the moment. 2 years older and could be used as a reference. LINKY If it doesn't sell I would get it home and take some additional photos and re advertise it. Also make sure the dealer isn't charging you a day rate for storing the bike. You may end up with a bill from them.
  17. List the good bits in the ad, make them statements. The salient info can get lost. You should check the following statements but people like lists Insurance not recorded No finance outstanding Brought new this year V5 and xx sets of keys (red one??) One owner Buyer to collect within xx days. Cash payment required within xx days Engine still runs perfectly (?) MOT not required until April 2015 Etc..
  18. So there is a possibility of a claim. Amazing the number of people who change their minds after an accident. The bike would still be unrecorded as far as I am aware and this needs to me mentioned when selling. Just a line saying "third party insurance so not recorded". The reality of it is how you advertise it. This will make a difference to the money you would get back. If it goes for £500, someone would have got an absolute bargain.
