  1. Keep way from the brakes with any of them. I do the same as Merv with the GT85, spray some on and then rub over with a rag. I spray the engine too and it smell great as it burns off. As an aside, you will get condensation issues with a metal shed. condensed water will drip from the roof.
  2. I has a good reputation but I use the other brand. You can get semi permanent/rigid covers LINKY
  3. Nope. I spray the SV every winter as I use it when the salt is down.
  4. I thought it was to scythe pedestrians.
  5. Yes. I like GT85 others like ACF50.
  6. Never owned one but it looks tidy.

  10. Please do not follow this example in lubing your chain. WARNING: The following link has graphic pictures and will show you what can happen if you do this. DO NOT click it if you don't like mangled flesh. LINKY
  11. Yes to the sidestand LINKY It may share with the FS1E The universal type clamps to the bottom of the frame which would be difficult/impossible on a YB
  12. Linky I would contact them first to see if they are back order but, apart from a couple of very rare parts, they have always delivered.
  13. Safety over style. You can get drop bars that fit onto yolk clamps LINKY.Not sure about setting up the cables etc. I know there is a big cafe racer scene on your side of the Atlantic so they should be available there too.
  14. Very easy. You can get them off the shelf or made up. Search for venhill, goodridge or hel once you have measured the length and the size of the banjo's. Lots of broken SR's around. you should be able to pick up a good clutch perch secondhand.

    Self praise..........................................................................
  16. I think, apart for one other guy, we were the only people camping on Friday night last year. My limited directions would be, from the entrance go straight into the main car park and then into the adjoining car park up the hill on the right. In front of you you will see a couple of detached building (one is the toilet block). Keep to the left of the buildings and we should be at the very bottom of that field. Unless someone gets there first. If in doubt look for a bloke with a pink rinse drinking a Cinzano. That will be Big Kev. Really; look for a DT or three, a TDR and hopefully a TS. Food
  17. It was very "Tango" Drewpy. A nice shade of Red now. Actually the bits I painted are Halfords toolbox red.
  18. Coming to an end now...................................................until the rebuild. Still waiting for some parts but all together. I have rushed some bits but these can be tidied up. Insured - Phoned Carole Nash this morning and the quote of £143 became £113. On a classic policy, fully comp. MOT - Booked for Tuesday morning. Hopefully it will pass. It hasn't had one since 1996. Tax - waiting for the MOT but I will do this online assuming it passes the MOT Some before and after photos.
