  1. Cheers Drewps. I have seen these. Here is the dilemma: The TS leans a lot on the sidestand. so much that the battery looses acid down the overflow tube and therefore stops running the indicators etc. Battery boxes are scarce and this is probably due to the fact that most have been eaten by acid when the overflow has not been put on properly. The battery box contains the mountings for the cover on that side of the bike. Specific issues The battery in the link is 40mm longer than the original one and I would need to see if it would physically fit in the space (new battery box or not) The UK spec of the TS does not have a regulator (the US one does). The wiring is there so I did consider using a pattern single wire one made for the DT from yuniparts to get over this. This assumes that they are going to be very similar specs in terms of volts and amps. Any thoughts??
  2. Anyone know who sells these please? Size is important but all I can find is alarm type ones. Cheers.

    general?

When did that happen kev? I hope it doesn't affect my benefits under that name! All I need now is a British passport and I will be made.
  4. I do have an interest in war. Some photos I took a couple of years back: Utah beach American cemetery British cemetery Sainte-Mère-Église
  5. Only if you haven't already spent the money on plan A!!
  6. Great pictures. Last time I went on the bike these were the tings I noticed the most: The road surfaces vary from very loose to great shellgrip Some of the bends are very scary and never decided was was worse - armaco or no armaco Signs for snow chains on tyres made me think How cold it got riding in the shadows and through tunnels It was noticable how the engine sound changed in thin air
  7. They are very cheap. It would give you around 250cc as it is a 250 kit. The assumption s would all the ancilleriries from the 125 fit them. Engine and head bolts would need to be the same. Cam chain position and length would need to be the came Exhaust outlets would need to be the same Manifold inlet would need to be the same Also The carb would need to handle the difference The coil(s) would need to handle the difference The CDI would need to handle the difference They would need to phyisically fit in the space Apart for that it could be plain sailing. Has anyone else done this? Have a look here LINKY
  8. Some good shots of a lot of the forum members bikes on here. For some reason it doesn't like use of the back button so to go back to the gallery page use the "squires 12" link near the top left of the web page when viewing single pictures. LINKY

  10. I just downloaded navfree for the iphone. Even paid a couple of quid for the ads to come off. I will give an update when I have used it.
  11. I shall decline Cynic but many thanks. I think that a 26 will stiffle the engine. Airhead's is a 28 which is the right bore and the fitting OD's are about the same. Cheers anyway. I will have a look at the link. VHT is readily available here so that might be the option. Cheers.
  12. Cheers Paul.Tis appreciated.
  13. Gloss on evilbay here LINKY. Still looking for the satin version. BTW, Did you get a chance to post that carb for me? Cheers.
  14. Anyone have any recommendations for crankcase and barrel paint please? I used Plastikote BBQ paint on one engine. PJ1 seems to have reappeared on the UK market but open to any other recommendations.
  15. It may be worth taking the wheels to a local bike tyre fitter and dropping him a few quid. Never heard of 7mm mirror threads??
  16. Only the nipple part should be covered. You may have pinched the tube but check the tube valve as some aren't tightened properly.
  17. Blood rush? But at least the weather has held this week mate.
