  1. I am with most of the above really. neversaydie said it in a nutshell. Good luck.
  2. Most use a continuity type sender I think, a float would bob about too much. Have a look under the tank as there will be a wire coming from it. It may simply bolt in. Please remember that petrol and sparks get on very well.
  3. I thought this was fantastic. LINKY

Oh, come on, come on!..................................come on!!
  5. It's not the kind of part normally kept in stock. Local yami dealers. Have you looked on eBay to see it there is a Complete head for sale?
  6. This is a little more complicated than it sounds. As i see it, and i could be wrong, there are 4 main criteria for a spoke; Thickness - get this wrong and the hub and rim holes will need to be drilled out or the wheel may buckle if too thin Length - get this wrong and they just won't fit Length of thread - get this wrong and there will be thread showing above the nipple or you won't be able to tighten the spoke up Angle of head - another "won't fit" issue The head angle and length will normally change on a single wheel so from the (36?) spokes on each wheel you would end up with 18 of each kind. Even with two wheels with the same diameter the hubs are nearly certainly different so you will need to have all the measurements for the 4 types of spokes you need. Just to make sure. It is a long way to take them back if you have issues.
  7. Measure them up and then look here LINKY

  9. Come on Foamy! You always post one of these and as soon as the date is known you pretend say that you have the carrot crunchers steam rally the same weekend. Not advisable to run around naked mate. Remember Kev goes to Squires and you could wake up never knowing.........................if you know what I mean!!!!
  10. Check the connections to the bulbs behind the headlight. Spray a little wd40 into the switchgear.
  11. +1 for the bobber idea. Welcome to the forum.
  12. I am sorry that the forum fell short of your expectations. Some people join and go and some people stay a while. To be honest I am not sure what you expected but if this forum isn't for you then so be it. Writing what you wrote will not change that. It does smack of being a little immature though. Please don't slam the door on your way out and good luck in finding that utopian forum you are searching for.
  13. No thanks, I have just eaten.

  16. I've never burnt my belly on an exhaust and that is heading south!
  17. Soften the plastic by getting the exhaust hot. Wood block (not ply) and solvol should do it. Oh yeh............................. keep plastics away from hot exhausts.
  18. I agree with DT50 above. Type your numbers into the top parts box here to see ther models that may help
  19. It won't help!!!! I think (but you need to check) Inlet Valve Clearance (Cold Operation)0.08~0.12 mm Exhaust Valve Clearance (ColdOperation)0.10~0.14 mm
