  1. I saw some cheap 12 volt SIM card ones on fleabay a while ago. You can use a phone tracker app to log onto the tinterweb to see where your bike is.

    1st bike?

Couldn't you get a couple of mopeds from the green shield stamp cataloge?
  3. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, naked engines.
  4. Eventually as it slowly drains the battery but with a decent battery the bike should be OK for a week or two of not starting it. I don't mind alarms but a lot of people do have an aversion to them. I would never retro fit one but would get one on a new bike purchase. Be aware that most insurers require an approved alarm fitted by a registered dealer/fitter to get any discount. BTW, where abouts in the East End are you?
  5. My choice is always Rock oil Guardian.
  6. Drewp's tracker would win my vote for every month.
  7. This is what I think: Pink/Black & White - this breaks an existing wire from the key to the CDI and then this circuit is "made" again when the alarm is disabled. You will need to cut a wire in the loom. Blue - This needs to go to the low voltage of the starter relay. This will not work (remotely start the bike) due to the clutch inhibitor switch.
  8. Hi and welcome to the forum.
  9. That's builders for you, hard to find a decent one I don't do manual labour.
  10. You should post a hello in the new members section and then check your head gasket and water pump seal..
  11. OK Steve, Here is my January offering; This is a low resolution picture. I have it in high resolution. 250 2 stroke engine - gears and crank.
  12. Common problem. I cut mine out but sometimes brute force works.
  13. Hi and welcome to the forum. Sorry I can't help with the question but there are a few RXS owners around who may be able to help.
  14. Hi and welcome to the forum. I used to work in "Chessie". Used to frequent "the Spire" a fair bit and used to stay in the Portland hotel, I think it is just a pub now..
  15. I am not sure if it will work but have you considered an Abba stand with the swingarm removal fitting kit?
  16. Hi Daniel, As already advised, it is always best to say hello in the new members section. The question can't be answered on here due to the amount of information required. I would also look at comparison sites to get some indication of cost. Insurers will use a variety of information to give you a quote. This will include: Your post code Any bile security If the bike is garaged If you have any adverse driving history What level of cover you wanted (TPO, TPFT, fully comp) Bike value Plus loads more.

It would take me 2 minutes to set up a forum, and I mean 2 minutes. The issue is getting people onto it. The tinterweb is full of dead or very slow forums
  18. Does the starter or relay make a clicking sound? If so you need to clean all of the starter and relay terminals. You already said that the battery was charged but can you also jump the bike off another battery?
  19. If it has a side stand, put this down first as you can rest the bike straight onto it once the bike is off the main stand.
  20. Fleabay is possibly your best bet for a subframe. It may be a case of just looking until one turns up. You need to explain the start up issues a little better. I get that the lights dim. Does the bike turn over? If so, fast or slow. Does the starter of relay just click? Have you checked the plugs for sparks and changed the fuel? Have you taken the plugs out and pushed the bike in gear to see if the engine is not seized?
  21. I can't find the winning lottery numbers.
