It's a kind of magic..,,..magic.......magic!

There are lots of fake spark plugs around. I would pop to halfords and get some new ones. Correctly gapped before I used them. I am guessing isn't wasn't damp enough (rain spray) to short a plug out?
-
Put the old plugs back in once cleaned and see what happens.

Hi and welcome. I work in Nottingham during the week so I may see you around.

Yes. Using a good quality 2 stroke oil is also a bonus. I use a standard unleaded petrol and a fully synthetic 2 Stoke oil.

Yes, twice. Puncture on the TS - used the free one that comes with a bank account but it it limited to 10 miles. RD- not recovered but fixed at the roadside with the recovery option. Used the one that comes with the bikesure insurance.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

LINKY to boots. Don't forget the discount code in the members section. That discount code finished on 1st December. Sorry!

Nooo. Just nice, with a little "bite". Then mixed in with some left over spuds and onion to make Bubble & Squeak with some cold cuts of gammon, beef and turkey the next day; Hmmmmmm.

Whats to hate? If you are lucky you may only see 80 of them and you don't have to go with the flow. Mind you I especially love sprouts.

Anyone up to anything different for Christmas? What's on your wish list? I am finishing work on 19th December and not going back until 5th January. If I am on the "nice" list I am looking to see if Santa brings me some guitar stuff. Order of organic meats done - to be collected 6am on 24th. Decorations up today (hopefully). Just a couple of bits left to buy. Christmas eve lunch booked overlooking the river and narrow boat moorings. Whats everyone else up to?

What you going for? The trouble with gloves is that; by the time they fit snug, they are worn out. It was a little chilly this week.

Interesting. I was self employed for about 20 years and joined the NHS to do a 17 month project - which I delivered on time and a million quid under budget. Never thought I would still work for them 5 years later. It may be the time to move on now.

RS paint website?

Good. It's a well known fact that motorcycles manufactured before 2007 produce 99% of all world emissions. I think all major towns should introduce this tax levy with immediate effect - except those in NI, Wales and Scotland.

The book I have to hand does not have the float height but some other specs to help: Spark plug B-6H or M45 Plug gap 0.6 to 0.7mm Points gap 0.3 to 0.35mm Timing 2.5 to 2.6mm before TDC

Hi and welcome. I am not Bolivian and have a 1965 YA-6.

Moved to the workshop.

The carb specs are right. They may be worn or, as Blackhat says, need a rebore, new plug/airfilter/genuine jet replacement etc. When new the bike should have reached around 110Kph - but the bike is 45 years old! Amazing technology when new.

Isn't Wales in the UK anymore? When did that happen?

I like shellgrip on some of the corners in Europe, especially in the mountains: Whoo hoooooo.

Interesting what the trend is. My youngest (30 next year) has just done his CBT and plans to do his DAS next year. He has been a car driver for over a decade. Is there a shift to bikes being a hobby for older people and not a form of transport after a, possible, moped at 16 dabble? I had a full car licence at 17 before I brought my first bike at the same age.
