What do you mean by threaded? Do you mean stripped, ie the bolt just spins round without screwing out? or is the head (socket or hex) rounded off?
-
Aye, I think many of our dreams are hampered by lack of finance. I dlike to have a couple of horses, and to learn to fly a plane

I cycle, drive, and ride the motorcycles. I also walk (cant run anymore, doctors orders) and use public transport If I could, Id ride one of my daughters horses too The roads are there to be used by all. There are bad cyclists/riders/drivers, and stupid pedestrians on the pavements, itll never get better, weve all got to make allowances. Anticipation pays dividends

If you do, make a good note of the position of any spacers -
Check that the choke cable is set and working ok Inspect the carb rubber for cracks/splits etc Check the spark plugs for gap and cleanliness, not loose in the threads

Have you tried NRP-carbs.co.uk? -
Theres another thread on this subject active at the moment, have a search for that

but still interesting to note the driving test remains much the same. Pass your test at 17 and any car you like is yours (if you can afford it) plus too many distractions in the cockpit
-
Glad it was nothing major
-
Best of British with it

Yep, Ive been trawling ebay, but being short, lean an having snake hips makes finding the right size a pain. Seems most used sets are owned by lard buckets

Hope to get some sound advice on this one. Im looking to buy some leathers, reckoning that 2 piece are more practical for my needs, which are commuting/rideouts/occasional trackdays I dont want to look like bertie basset, the speed hump on the back is not reqd, plain black would be fine Been looking at these, do ya reckon these would be acceptable for the above needs? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/The-Razor-Leather-2-pcs-Suit-Armoured-Motorcycle-1-3M-Jacket-Trousers-Gloves-/281160028509?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item417671915d

Saw this on the tv some years ago It was a set up. The audience was a typical classical music lot, invited to the first performance of said orchestra The looks on their faces. The musicians kept playing, the audience were looking at each other, some grinning, some puzzled, but they stuck with it till the end, then most of them applauded politely Very funny at the time

The 2 behind the yellow one may had had obstructed vision, but no excuses for the retard in the yellow car. Automatic loss of licence please

On the phone while driving should be an automatic loss of licence, I see it all the time, the deterrent is piss poor, thats why they do it.
-
I like the colours, looks good Two minors though, not sure about the blocking on the tailpiece, maybe look better plain blue? And the YAMAHA decal is cutting into the blocking on then tank
-
You need fresh fuel, its no good if its old fuel in the tank
-
Im taking a guess that the red wire hanging by the negative battery terminal should be connected to the positive terminal on the battery, but it looks like its been ripped/pulled off and may not now be long enough. Was the bike running before you swapped batteries?

Double check the chain and sprockets, remove the front sprocket cover and check inside it, spin the rear wheel by hand while watching the front sprocket to see if the chain jumps or theres a stiff link, you may not see it at the rear spkt due to the larger radius
