Not many left like that. I know it sounds corny, and old fashioned, but I miss places like that. Nearest I've found to 50s/60s England was the Isles of Scilly. No litter, no dog shit, wild birds feeding from your hand.

Not as big as the pheasant that hit me on the helmet, nearly lost control, only doing 15 to 20, felt like it weighed 5 stone

Nope, shouldnt sound like that, at tickover with standard pipes on it should be doof doof doof doof You need to be sure that the mechanical settings are correct ie valve clearances/timing chain tension etc as they can be noisy if not right Standard sprockets should get you to 65 to 70

Good result Couple of "watch fors" on the Radian: Look after your front fender, prone to crack/break where the bridge plate sits and they are rare As are the fuel tanks Swingarm needs to be cleaned to stop carp buiding up and rotting them out, particularly behind the nylon chain guide that is screwd onto it close to the arm bearings Good luck with it, fabulous little bikes

No, they dont give them away, but if youre chains shagged, then you need to get one ASAP because failure can have you off, vital drive component. Also slack chain can shag your sprockets so you need to check them too Get into the habit of weekly maintenance checks

Thats a Englishman for you, youre not alone in putting up with stuff till its too late. If more than a couple of women nationwideare afflicted with something, the National Disease Management (NHS) Service and its offshoots kicks in with a variety of support services/clubs/clinics If youre a bloke, youre likely to end up with "Do you get paid for doing it" "No" "Then stop doing it" Dont give up, there will be something out there to help
  20. Grouchy's just bone idle, it'll be another garage job or a forgotten rust pile

Are you back to standard jets and sprockets, baffles till in the exhausts, good clean air filter, valves correctly adjusted, chain clean/lubricated and correclty tensioned?
  22. neversaydie replied to james1985's post in a topic in The Bar
Yep, trace your wiring back, sounds like a break somewhere Does it turn over on the start switch? Does it maintain run when started? Do you have the schematic?

I think you're paying for the warranty there, that means there is room for some haggling on it. You'll always pay over the odds from a dealer

Well done, good luck with Mod 2
  25. You must take it back to the people who did the service. If you try to put it right yourself, you will invalidate the warranty
