checked your valves recently? the PSI checking is the same for cars. to confirm compression try a bit of oil in the cyl and see if there is a difference!

I used to use cornflake packets for gasketv material. lighly oil the part, press it on the card and you have an impression. Cut around it and viola!! C'est Bon
