  1. what ya like..... in the white boxes 3/4 up the page click the down arrow and select "yamaha" the next box enter "xs400" the next box click the down arrow and select "carburetor repair kits" then click "search" and there they are
  2. great pics and you picked a good sunny day! just managed to piece together my bike yesterday. hopefully get it MOT'd early next week!!
  3. it will if it lets in air! the SE models had a tilted M/C body due to the shaped bars
  4. I'd do a service and tune up as these bikes are reliable. If you're still having problems, its usually the crud from stale fuel in the carbs
  5. finned engine cover! new tacho/speedo mounts/bezel? luminum rear hugger?
  6. top engine mount off? 2 rear mounts? front lower mounts off? sometimes the motor is reluctant to come off the frame as it tends to wedge in the front mounts. you can do a top end strip to lighten the engine and I suggest loosening the front sprocket nut as its tight (use the gears and drive chain/back brake) just rock the front up to free it and take the engine out from the right hand side.

  9. should change your moniker to cheekygit! still got the swing arm, figured i'd get the thing rideable and mess later with that as it needs to be shaved a bit and a hybrid bearing system fabricated
