you have a choice; leave alone and hope that any rubber o ring is ok (if that's the model carb you have) Or remove the plug and have a look while the carb is out. personally I'd remove it and check the contents. I think if you drill a small hole and get a self tapper in there, you should be able to pull the thing out! drewps

Which engine oil and 2 stroke oil for 1993 DT50 ?
drewpy replied to ryanwilki's topic in Yamaha Workshop
yea! I wouldn't ask cynic, he don't use any -
been geo-caching for years moniker? why "drewpy" of course got a geocoin that's going round the world. its been to brownsea island then saudi now its over in spain. there's even a cache in Antartica. It takes you to places off the beaten track and normally gives you a bit of history of the area. good heads up BWJ

Managed to fit one of the micro switches inplace of the clamp screw on the lever bracket looks quite smart just got to find a small rubber to fit over the switch ( I might ask Kev!, so Paul said!)

I think I left mine off and I use an inline filter I would use the new one with the new counterpart, mixing old with new is not good . sounds right, i have something similar with a looped clear plastic and it uses a small ball bearing Is the black plastic thing the diaphram? I put ACF50 on the diaphram to stop it cracking and keep the main jet piston clean. (slide!!) drewps some links http://www.obairlann.net/reaper/motorcycle/manometer.html http://www.therevcounter.com/uk-motorbike-forum/15892-diy-twin-carb-tb-balancer.html
