'78 can be C or D, calipers you can use are some xs650's some Rd's xs400 sohc models except later ones xs750 and 850 xs 1100

maybr use an easy out very carefully. its a reverse thread so you can unscrew the pilot jet.sometimes they are just an interferance fit so a bit of gentle heat may help too!

needs adjusting properly ie its over reaching on the brake arm, or the shoes are worn causing the same effect. Also check the return spring in the brakes are working as it may flip the shoe into the drum causing a lock up situation

Any one watching the new cafe racer program ? Got some knob head smugly promoting himself and his company by cutting up a spotless cb750 sandcast model, and putting a mono shock on with Beringer inboard front disks. the bike looks nice, but FFS use the later model. A sandcast CB recently went on ebay for $41,000 people kept calling him and offerd to give him 4 later cb750's to stop him doing it.
