    rewired the rear of the bike and not too soon either. The fuses fell apart and the PO (not Paul) used those silly blue connectors instead of solder and Jap spade connectors. Also the suspension bush finally arrived today (from Japan) and I rebuilt/fitted the suspension. Yay is moves now went for a little spin and seems to run OK considering its been outside for 3 months. now to get it MOT'd and 6 months Tax and use it a bit and see what else needs doing before it comes off again for a rebuild.   8. I've just had a nut made/delivered for £4.30 and it wasn't correct when i got it, so will have to wait another 2 weeks for him to get his finger out and confirm that they made a mistake. The worst phone manners and poorest customer service I have ever had to endure too not even taken my phone number to phone me back.

  10. I looked into making a pulse jet, but i can't weld stainless. the swedes used to use R/C minature delta planes with them attached but at over 200 mph they were effectivly uninsurable for public diplays
  11. the air is not as dense in hot weather so you need to open the throttle more to get the fuel in. Also fuel expands when warm so always fill up early morning/ late at night.
  12. you could always clear coat the area too with 2 pack. very hard paint
  13. going well, don't forget that BBQ paint needs a lot of heat to cure and Its supposed to be done within an hour of being painted (well my stuff did)
  14. its not about annealing, but refacing the wear. Stellite is a chrome based weld which is so hard only grinding can remove the material.
  15. just had a quote to stellite and grind the selector fork from SEP.....£70 + VAT

  18. My mate used a reverse bid auction site for couriers and got an engine delivered 200 miles for £60 I used them meself and paid £30 for an engine case with bits to send to Carl http://www.uship.com/uk/
