  8. I have get a 2 pot caliper in the garage from a suzi 125. I'll have a look but doubt it would be what you wanted. you can never have too much front brake
  9. your reading to much into it, get a four pot and match the mc to it. It'll work wether you use 1 caliper or 2 either side. Match up the MC bore, TDR's MC bore size will work as it uses 1 caliper. why not go the whole hog and use the disk too
  10. your right Noise, butterflys do need to be open and battery fully charged

here's a pikkie of the new end cap I got. I since polished the end can as it was chrome underneath, that paint didn't want to go it was painted on really well like anodising.
  13. Went on a 60 mile ride today as the weather was lovely and sunny, but bloody cold My right thumb actually turned blue and i was worried after 1/2 hour as I still couldn't feel a thing, It all came back in the end. strange feeling though met a couple of guys who happen to live near me and they turned out to be police, he said they have a few spates of scooter thefts in the area and one guy in particular, rides no helmet ad an off road bike all over the place. Guess who rode the opposite way as I got into the local council sink hole area! It Blew the cobwebs away and then Paul (Oldtimer) came round in his MV F3, who has another bike, MV F4RR and still has his triumph as well!
  14. they had plates which were pop riveted on the frame rail near headstock

went to Manchester Airkix on Friday and had a few pictures done I would recommend it to anyone, you float on a cushion of air and its nice a warm too anyway here are the pics at the end he takes you up higher and spins you round and then drop, great fun and similar to the way a helicopter feels
  19. the FZ did that and it turned out to be the fuse box connections, even though they felt secure. I also had a fuse melt but connection was made by arcing across the fuse

yes they did, so that's it then? there is a box at the top which says they will send a message about the outcome of each vehicle notification submitted. I think I'll wait till tuesday and resubmit then just in case they throw up something else (i'm not disturbing a potential hornets nest) DVLA have not asked for anything else and have checked my V55/5 (put red circle round the asterix in the VIn number for instance)

that's why I didn't do one in the first place. the certificate of origin says that FFS! thanks to Blackhat I completed the form online telling as much as I know, had to make a few assumptions and now have an acknowledgement with a notification reference number. see in a few days, at least VAT owed is nil.
  22. Just to clarify, there will be no "personal" changes to the tees. we get a standard one as its impossible to swop/add lettering around and keeps the cost down. This has already been mentioned, hence the poll. I'm happy to go what the majority say and the majority agree with me anyway
  23. did you make sure the fuses are secure including under the fuse box?
