  3. I think there is a standard "spin" on the mechanical turning so any like for like speedo works. only exception would be a kPH speedo, but you can get mechanical converters.

    when you tighten the nut underneath. the rubber is compressed and tightens up in the top yolk. just checked mine and I have to give a fairly big tug to get them to move. I wonder if the yolk holes have worn larger due to slack bushes? I'm sure I have a pair in the shed., I'll measure the diameter for you they are 32mm

    Sorry I thought the reference was for head removal to check the valves and rockers etc. checking valve clearances dont need new gaskets drewps

    kill switch, unless a related component is wired off the 12v supply to the coil. (red white stripe)

    its cheaper to get a "top end" gasket kit rather than separate items. then you get everything you need ( or thought you didn't need) don't forget you also need a torque wrench for the head. drewps
