If the weathers good I'll be there! drewps I'll give OT a ring as I think he's got pc problems.
  9. its getting the bugger out, unless you can use a thin screw and pierce the rubber, twist a bit to bite in, then pull out. replacing is a simple matter of driving a new one in!! if the screw don't work, you only need to take the cam cover off drewps
  10. on compression stroke of course. recommended oil is 20w 40 5'c plus and 10w 30 < 0'c plus with type SE oil
  11. its usual to use RT and LT marks on the crank for timing, hence the reason they are there. what sort of oil are you using?
  12. oil shouldn't be leaking out and it can only come from the camshaft seal or the joint between the cam cover and head which has no gasket or sealant. I have 2 small holes on mine andI assume they are in case of water ingress/condensation For a cafe racer, i recommed the xs750/850 three's one on youtube and it looks great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Owwd19VDbpg

your html was all over the place, it just needs the IMG tags which are copied from you photobucket account! dural (duraluminum) is a hard aluminium used for stressed items. this is not my project but some thing i pinched off german ebay at the time. it looks like all you need is the plate and the caliper alingns with the disk! drewps

you won't get a direct replacement, but you can fit 300mm fzr400 disk and GXR 4 piston caliper with dural mounts. BTW I've sorted out out your picture
