get a battery! check fuses by removing and cleaning the glass fuses. no power as such across the points its a ground for the coils.

have you put the O rings back the correct way? mikexs describes the way they go in in the advert for bs34 carbs

I would dsay its an earthing issue, check all black wires from the signals and clean frame around them.

presumably its an xs400! the carbs need a really good clean, ie strip and all the orifcies clear, use berrymans or seafoam and blow through with air.

in weakens the mix! the slow to return to idle usually means its weak. If when it is warm, what is the response like then?

if you have sight of your parts and they look the same, i would get them. on part #48-5012 I would look at a new needle kit instead/as well, as I'm sure it wil be worn. -

that is a brass plug, take it out by self tapping screw and yank on it. under neath that's where the pilot screw is. That version will have an O ring which will almost certainly have perished. Mikes XS have spares. know the manual says 32mm but if you have brass floats, they are best @ 26mm -

leave the needle valves for later, its only for the top end. pilot mix screw 3 to 3.5 turns from bottoming out
