yea, xs400/250 stuff is compatible with the 360

could be that the clutch has stuck a bit and it needs freeing off. I'd get the battery sorted and engine going, then bump start in 2nd and pull in clutch and brake at the same time. this should free it.

weld a nut on them , even the recessed one. the combination of heat and a new nut works every time. If you have a welder it takes longer to set it all up than to do it.

try tightening them first, maybe just loose. Whether it will pass, depends on the MOT tester but if you've noticed it you tester will too.

a cracking ride through Cheshire on the A50, stop at little chef near the A500, then on A500 to A34 to Stafford. A few years ago I rode into a freezing fog cloud and saw my hands ice over like the movies. cool
