little update as I am collecting bits and have most of the engine stuff together. took a chance on ebay Italy and bought some new after market forks called "Forcella" any way they came today and they FIT! just need the alloy stuff vapour blasted and can make a start on the engine. at this rate I should be done by Easter next year!

out is on, at least it won't seize. did you put any non-standard stuff on the bike?

looks exactly like this but I've tried to get the paint off with crap nitromors and hardly made an impression!

normally its an enrichment device, ie gives more fuel. is the auto lube still connected and giving extra oil?

make sure you clean the crap out. dish washers work well especially when the female of the species is out could do with my Gilera tank paint blasting off, how much to get it done?

funny enough I saw that today on the A666 ( appropriate) the knob in his car (BMW). Two lanes, lorry on the inside knob on the outside with me behind holding me up because he can't be behind a lorry but needs to be at 48 mph. Decides he wants that slip road, drives into the lorry cab, (well very very nearly) accelerates and rams his anchors on to access the slip road. knob head

I get the occasional spotty teenage jerk (stereotyping i know) thinks taking on a bigger bike by undertaking it is cool. once, i was at crown of the road, he blasted inside around me, over took the car just ahead in a busy street,then turned right, causing me to brake. I just smiled to myself at his stupidity and his shit dress sense! not worth getting too involved as it distracts you from the road!
