XJ900F Tyre choice and size
wider tyres make it harder to turn, that's why racers started knee down corners and the old timers stuck with using tucked in methods ( I may be wrong though) I keep with the stock tyres on the FZ but have gone a slightly wider rear on the TDM, i dropped the steering angle and kept the front aspect ratio for easier tipping in. if your just doing a bar hopper type thing, it won't make a bit of difference

Would you believe it.
bloody hell, that's a bummer. I love food, hence why I chose it as a career. (not for the money) is there an app you can have to keep track of things. Would certainly make it easier to control. Hopefully it'll become second nature

Sept Northern Ireland Trip (FJ shake-down ride)
Just read that and loved it, maily to remind me of NI as I did the NW200 once via Stranrar and the other we copped out and flew there, only to be stranded by the volcano erupting. we also stayed in Bushmills, but with a friend. I cycled the Hadrians wall road west to east and is indeed impressive and particulaly liked Housesteads fort

XS250 carb. problem/s
its usually the idle jets that get blocked. try opening up the mix screw which is near the manifold (anticlockwise) if it doesn't make a difference then professional cleaning is the way to go. I sent mine away to cornwall which cost £100 and i also sent new jets. this was back in 2006 so more expensive now. look in xs400.com and you can get an xs teeshirt with "clean them carbs", that's how notorious they are to get right
