  1. gold for me, I have orange wheels on mine and they pop out really well. makes the bike longer, its a short arse as it is.
  2. I've been a few times and bombing parading around the track is great fun. Airhead's been on the DT and I took Mike once, but he was too slow and I lapped him twice so he never went back on. I think I paid £5 for a ticket and you get 2 sessions with the same era bikes for 20 mins then a free for al lat the end (no way hose!) great to see the old bike, motos and 50's strutting their stuff The Show With Go is happening again on the 29th of June. Its in the early planning stages and the website isn't up and running yet. there is a a facebook page with info which will be updated. Find it as Barnsley motorcycle festival The website which will be back up soon is showwithgo.co.uk
  3. I had a row with out butcher the other day when I asked for chipolata sausages. he wanted to give me tiny things like pigs in blankets. I wanted long thin sausages and he refused to accept they were chipolatas even sent pictures and an Oxford dictionary description!

  5. opens 9am on both days at the Stafford County Showground. Guest of honour motorsport champion John Surtees will bring two historic machines with him; the MV Agusta which won the 1956 500 world championship, and his 1964 F1-winning Ferrari. Very rare opportunity to see both machines and the man himself all in the same place at once. Plus all the usual show attractions including extensive concours displays, Bonhams auction, Wall of Death, Classic Dirt Bike experience and trials display, hundreds of trade and autojumble stalls and club stands. Admission £13 on the day so best to prebook for discounted tickets (also saves some queuing). Free car parking

  15. well I sneaked out today as the sun was out and gave the little G some. clutch drags and then slips so I'll get new plates, 99p on ebay ATM I can always buy a complete clutch as its the same for a Vespa PK50s and they do billet stuff but at £300 i'll give it a miss. well the bike performed really well, could get full power as such but got it into 5th and remembered the opposite shifting. front brake is really progressive and reassuring. next stop MOT tuesday, V55/5 completed and a PM to lee for insurance when the new air filter arrives from USA. in a few weeks.

  20. The Underground Ticket Barrier for the Jubilee Line at Canary Wharf singing Blur's Song 2, *almost* in the right key too. It's the 4th barrier from the right, not the 2nd as you go down into the tube.
  21. Amazing drone footage has captured the trail of destruction left by a rockfall in northern Italy. Approximately 4,000 cubic metres of rock broke off a cliff face and then crashed through a barn and vineyards in Tramin on January 21. One giant rock rolled through a 300-year-old barn destroying it completely before coming to an eventual stop in a field near a second boulder, which seems to have been dislodged in a previous rockslide. http://youtu.be/IPDmAFDlJxQ
