    wiggling wires is not cleaning the contacts

    and pull away the dust covers first and you will see the white ferrous which will need to be cleaned. put a chunk of wood inplace of pads so they don't pop out

    you can lap them your self unless you are gas flowing the head and you might want to have stepped valve seats

    I have an old PC but, decent graphics card, 8 gb Ram and can just about handle new games if I tweek then a bit. PC is 4 years old now and but was hand built.

    sounds like an air leak to me,inlets could be cracked or carbs need ultra sonically cleaned
