This is my 08 R6 that i got in September!!! Clearly see my need for a new tyre!! My pillion peg blanks fitting perfectly thanks to R6Jools great tip of car wash sponge under them!! Hope you all like!!

OH DONT GET ME STARTED!!!!!!!!! I tried to sell a PS3 the other week and it sold for nearly £300 quid, the bloke emailed me and said "i cant afford it at the min, give me a week". So i did - 1 month later still nothing!! I thought forget it he aint paying, tried to leave negative feedback and now it turns out that YOU CANT LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ANYMORE!!! I mean REALLY WTF!!! Whats the point in having feedback then??? Sorry abit but it wound me up and it just all come flooding back!! GOFF - Did the bloke reply after you said he'd bought it in november for £45????

Mate dont give it up!!!! I got some bungs on my 2008 R6 and thought they looked stupid until it dropped on its side - i tried to jump under it before it hit the ground and missed , only cost me 13 quid for a new clutch leaver, the bungs saved the lot!! Now i love them!!!

Quality. What had stopped??

Ok cool. Stumpy valve stems?????? If i buy the tyre from m&p can i take it to the yamaha dealer by me and get them to put it on? Should i take the whole bike or take the back wheel off and take them that? Cheers again for everyones post, really helping me out!!

Yeah i do commute now and again, makes sense for it to be going down in the middle. You say there is better tyres but the front is still ok, do the front and back have to be the same? What sort of price range am i looking at?

Hi guys Ive done about 4300 miles on my new 08 R6 and the back tyre is starting to square off and get a bit thin down the middle. Is this about the milage i'll get out of back tyres? Also if i need a new one where is the best place and how much am i looking at for a new back tyre the same as the one before (stock - Dunlop something??) Cheers!!

Yeah they dont seem to fit as flush as yours. Might try it your way, the sponge is a great idea!

WOW they look good!! Alot better than mine! Did you say you have put foam above them?

Ive used velcro on mine now!!! Let us know how you get on with yours R6Jools and if you have the same problems with the sticky pads.

Me too. They seemed pretty secure until i moved the bike around. Gaffa tape might be a good idea tho. Should think about when i sell it someone might want to put them back on. Cheers

Thats great cheers. Just done mine now they fit ok but when i put it all back together and took it off the pit stand they both popped out of place and are now rattling around inside. Any ideas for another way to fix them down? Glue maybe? or is this a big no no? Thanks
