hi ally if you go on this site smiffy.com and click on dt250 restoration there is a nice picture of the bike and you get a good view of the part i require i did a google seach and this comes up as gary smith smiffy.com some nice pics of the rebuild also cheers billy

thanx ally,the part is the stay that ataches the numberplate/backlight to the mudguard on the uk spec bike only it was fitted to many twinshock dts from 74 onwards its the one were the numberplate and backlight is one unit and this stay ataches the unit to the mudguard there are three bolts that ataches the stay to the mudguard and 4 bolts that ataches the unit to the stay cheers billy

hi guys great site,well here goes first time post so bear with me.am after the rear bracket that ataches the numberplate/backlight to the mudguard on my dt250c part number is458-84558-30-20 it is the same bracket fitted to a lot of twinshock dts or if anyone has one i can get a pattern from to get fabricated that would also be very helpful any sugestions very welcome
