Glad its repairable, my old Swift got written off because the car was only worth about £1000 and the repairs were quoted at around £400, would hate to see such a rare classic bike meet the same end if you need a runabout in th mean time, there's a DT50 over here in need of a spin!

Hi bud. Welcome to the forum, the RD50MX uses the same running gear as the DT50 and TY50, any regulators from those should fit, i've probably got a spare one kicking around somewhere but i will have to look.

TBH bud, it does not look bad at all, must be the dry climate you guys have over there. my XJ Turbo had been sat for about 12 years and was in far far worse condition than the one in your photo looks to be!, i wouldnt be surprised if it started with a fresh tank of petrol and a new battery.

IF IM LUCKY!. My old donkey would do just over 50mph flat out, but any more than 30-60 seconds and it would pinch up and die, it would do 40mph comfortably all day long though so thats gonna be my max for the travel up.

Welcome buddy, i joined up here about 6 years ago just after i bought my DT50 and before i took my CBT, and im still here in all fairness though i have my own strait jacket... You best get your ass to squires in August! YOC annual meet bro, gonna be ace XD

That is the plan From Odiham to Squires is 260 miles each way, gonna bring a spare engine along aswell just in case.

Ive sold pretty much all of my bikes now! only the DT and Project FUCR remaining. the guy who came to pick up my RD kept wanting to buy my DT50 aswell, i couldnt bring myself to sell it , made that mistake once before!

As above, if the pump isnt pressurising the fuel gallery to the injector, the injector will do sweet f*all
