  1. swap the core engine, use your existing injectors, manifolds, stators e.t.c. IIRC the core engine is the same for all XTs and YBRs, the taper and fixtures for the stator assembly should be the same. whats the worst that could happen. Also, polish up your old engine and turn it into a plantpot, its kinda funky.
  2. I could never get my XJ600 to bleed properly the 'conventional' way as the seals collapsed slightly when all the pressure was dumped from the system, ended up bleeding it backwards with a syringe full of brake fluid on the nipple, empty the syringe through the nipple and it will push the air bubbles out of the top of the master cylinder (be sure to have the master cylinder covered with a bit of rag or something to stop brake fluid spurting all over your paintwork)
  3. Clean?... Polish? what are these words... Rideout sounds good, im not far from Loomies cafe either which is always good.
  4. DDT, if you could ping it back to my paypal that'd be ace bud
  5. Hungerford mainly, but im gonna be working over near Hook in a few months aswell.
  6. ah fuck it, i'll get my own from vistaprint, sorry peeps, im out.
  7. I stripped and rebuilt an XT engine (exactly the same base as your YBR) not long ago, the bolt (pointing horizontally) hold the two cases together, between the two cases (if i remember correctly) there is an oil gallery running directly underneath that bolt between the two cases, if you remove the bolt and clean the shank and the hole itself with a cotton bud and a small amount of white spirit you can apply a smear of silicone to the bolt shank which will help it to seal as you screw it in. as an alternative, you could use PTFE tape, the cases are sealed both around the top of that bolt and underneath, so sealing the bolt itself should have no effect on oil flow itself within the engine. hope this helps Foameh.
  8. I would have prefered a yam, but at the price i got it for i couldnt say no!
  9. TBH, i think vistaprint was still an easier option, and i didnt find the quality that bad tbh.
