Ignition won't switch off!
did you check the wiring before you installed the new ignition?, on some ignitions it will have a temporary on for the ignition and headlights and a permanent on for the radio and other electrics so they will still have power when you turn the key off (hence why the radio in my dads van keeps resetting itself every time you stop ) also check for shorts and loose connections

Best way to sell?
hi everyone. whats the best way to sell my DT50?, i dont want to try ebay because they have all these buy it now fees, final value fees, reserve fees, starting price fees e.t.c and there is no guarantee i will get a good price for it and i dont want to sell it for £150 and then be left with no transport and not enough money for another bike. Ad Trader charges £6 per ad and has a 40 word limit, so that is pretty much ruled out of the equation. is there any cheap advertising media that is well-known and gets a lot of views that i could post my ad on? ive posted an add in the for sale section and on some small free advertising websites but i doubt i will get any response. any ideas? - Steve

3HE Carburettors
hmm, can't be the fuel intake as i dont imagine it would flow directly into the carb bowl as that would defeat the whole purpose of the floats. are you sure it isnt a drain?, perhaps the brass tube had broken off/was removed. im all out of ideas

Realistic Price?
i posted an ad in the for sale section and elsewere on the 'net, so will wait and see what response(s) if any i get.

3HE Carburettors
they are at the lowest point externally, but inside they are connected to a brass tube which sticks up from the bottom of the carb bowl so in the event of an overflow the fuel level will have to rise above the height of the brass tube before it can flow down it and out the overflow pipe.

ybr 125 - it just keeps dying on me
a blocked vent hole will rpevent the air entering the tank, make sure you get it good and clear using a nail, pin or other small object, give it a blow with an airline if you have one

Realistic Price?
would being a classic affect the price at all?. last time i took it to probike they started laughing , plus there arent any nice 50cc bikes in there that i can afford, the only Enduro they had in there last time was a reiju SMX50 which was £1,599

3HE Carburettors
not 100% sure how they work, but the drains basically would have some fuel pipe attached to it which would just direct the fuel away from the engine so it can be dumped somewere safe.

Realistic Price?
Hi everyone. what price would i get if i was to sell my DT50MX, its got a lot of features on it and now ive sorted out the carb and mixture its been very reliable. its 1990, got 24,000 miles on the clock, brand new tyres, good brakes and clutch, all new control cables, new wheel bearings, Acerbis headlamp, renthal bars, carbon effect indicators, Reinforced handguards, new chain and sprockets, spare set of tyres (with legal tread), pod filter, Bigone exhaust and expansion chamber. its also got new piston rings in it which have about 50 miles on them, spare set of brand new piston rings, brand new in box big bore kit, V5C, HPI Clear, Old MOT certificates, 9 months Tax and MOT, Haynes manual, Yamaha publication brochure, old tax disks and various other bits of paperwork. so realistically, what is a good price for it? - Steve Pics attached
